Yum! Have you tried making your own Ranch mix yet? I have a good recipe if you want it. For dressing or dip. It's really good.

I got this from Kayla.
2 tsp. instant minced onion (I used onion powder since I didn't have minced) 1/2 tsp. salt 1/8 tsp.garlic powder 1 tbsp. dried parsley flakes
To make dressing mix with 1 cup mayp and 1 cup buttermilk.
For dip 1 cup mayo and 1 cup sour cream.
It's really good. I made some Chevre cheese and put the dry mix in some and it was so good.

Heather, I also make my own mayo because I am sick of all the stuff that's in store bought. It's so easy to do and only 5 ingredients.

I've made mayo before but I don't like it in my ranch for some reason. :) You're right Kris, the stuff from the store is gross....not to mention, a GMO! MJF had a recipe in the last issue. I'll look it up and post it here (unless someone beats me to it!)

1 egg 2 tblsp. lemon juice or cider vinegar 1/4 tsp. salt 1/2 tsp. dry mustard 1 1/3 cup oil (I use Safflower oil. I have tried others but for me they don't get thick enough like the Safflower oil does)
Combine all but the oil in a blender. Blend at least a minute. Gradually add oil, slowly but continuously, blending til all oil is incorporated. Store in glass container.
