I think I have just about everyones. They all look yummy! I don't think there was a repeat in the bunch! Funny how that works! So glad you liked the ones I sent-They are all tested & liked at my house! We have an Amish community by Iowa City that I frequent evry year(sometimes 2x a year)(guilty). I collect their cookbooks & recipes.

That apple pancake you made Siobhan looks "heavenly"! Great photo of a great looking pancake! Siobhan, I received your recipes today - they all look so good and a neat way to print them out too! I am going to use a 3 ring binder and clear pocket sheets to put the recipes in. This was a wonderful swap and the creativity was amazing! Thanks again Channah for organizing this one! Hugs, Ruth

And yes Teresa, it was hard to cut into, but taking a picture first made it easier. I totally was not intending on taking a picture of breakfast, but when I opened the oven and saw it in there, I just couldn't resist. it was too pretty!

That does look good, Siobhan. I wish I had some apples now. I'll have to wait for mine to get ripe. My trees are just loaded. Was that just one pancake? I got your recipes yesterday. They all look really good. Thanks so much. And for the letter too.
Kris

A little not on the tomato pie recipe I sent out. It calls for 1 lb. of parmesan grated. That seemed like a lot to me. I only used half (a whole 8 oz. container of Kraft grated parmesan) and it was VERY rich and I wouldn't have even been able to fit a whole other container in the pie dish. It has to be an error in the recipe. I would even go so far as to say that maybe it meant just a cup. of paremesan. I don't know. It was good with the 8 oz. but quite cheesy :)

Shelia - we tried the breakfast casserole this morning. Wow! I never knew eggs could be so tasty! Thanks for sharing that recipe!
It's raining hard again today so I will not be able to go out to the garden to finish my weeding project. If I can decide which goodie to choose I think I will bake something Amish this afternoon, too.
This has been such a fun exchange. My new recipe collection is wonderful. And absolutely amazing that there were no duplications!
Cheers! ~ Marilyn

Thanks to all the girls that sent out their recipes to me. I got a pile of letters last week and it was such fun. The recipes were all somewhat different and delicious sounding. I love tomato pie and am excited about that one. I have a recipe for vidalia onion pie which is delicious also. It is from a church cookbook. Everyone have a wonderful week and thanks again for the tasties. Smiles, Beth

I have received recipes from: Mel, Beverly, Teresa, Lin, Beth, Ruth, Marilyn, Diana, Kristin, Siobahn, Karla, Susan, Judy, Shelia, Marlene and Channah.
Hopefully the last 4 will come soon! It has been so much fun to look for them in the mail every day!
I'm putting them all together in plastic sleeves in a binder so they are handy and will stay clean.
Thanks everyone!
