The best way I have found to get the smell off ( hidden) on a dog after getting spayed by a skunk is to run a cloth all over the dog with liquid fabric softener. The dog doesn't seem to mind, adn the smell is a lot better for you to handle.

It is that time of year again!

baking soda and hydragion peroxide will remove odor almost completly, and if any remains after they are dry, rub corn meal into their coat and it will absorb the oils

Marilyn:
My Luck Dog was sprayed with a skunk, and I cleaned him in the bath tub with tomato paste. I mix it with Dawn. I was a bit hungary for spaghetti after I bathed him, but he sure smelled good. LOL.
