I'm looking for a fabric refresher recipe- like Febreeze-to spray on couches, beds, curtains etc. Anyone have any suggestions?

Thanks!

A light vinegar and water solution that can be scented with your favorite essential oil or scented oil. Vinegar is a natural disinfectant so it kills odor causing bacteria and it leaves a sweet scent behind once it has dried.

how much vinegar? im assuming a small amount in the water? I use a vinegar and scented oil mix to clean, and baking soda or borax for scrubbing.

I mix a couple drops of pure lavender oil with the least expensive bottle of vodka, to make my own Febreeze. Or some homemade vanilla extract in water, which cleans the air during closed in winter months. Once the weather is nice the windows and doors come flying open and this airs the place out during the day. Dont overlook the value of using good old plain baking soda, sprinkled on carpet and furniture and left to sit half an hour and then vacuumed up.
