Hello All,
I'd love to join in on this. These are my favorite books from childhood although I haven't re-read them as an adult. There is a Little House on the Prairie Cookbook, though, that I use all of the time. I hope I'll have the book done in time for June! Wishing everyone well!

Welcome Tina! I used to have the cookbook too.....not sure if I still do. As I work on compiling a list of projects for the first book, there are lots of recipes mentioned so it will come in handy!

There is also a songbook - I'm pretty sure we had it when I was little, I will have to ask my mom about it. It had all of the songs that Pa played on the fiddle, plus others.
I have always wanted to find or read the cookbook...

The cookbook sounds very interesting. Do you think it's still in print? I'd love to have one. And the songbook too.

I'm in! I'm a life-long Little House fan and raised my boys on the books, too. I took them to a local play when they were young and did a unit study as part of our homeschool one year. I also have the cookbook, and possibly the songbook - will have to look in the piano bench. It will be fun to read through again.

Hello Everyone,
I just wanted to share what great fun I am having re-reading Little House in the Big Woods. I started it last weekend and have been reading it before bed. What a wonderful, comforting book it is - and what happy memories of my childhood it is bringing back! The further along I read the more excited about our upcoming projects and discussions I become!
All the best,
Tina
