Okay, my friends, guess I'm having a bad year. After all the respiratory illness I had the last few months, I hoped not to have to see a doctor for a long time. However, last fall I had a baseline mammogram and was told to repeat it in six months. Several mammograms and ultrasounds later, I find myself now very sore from having a biopsy and very, very, very scared as I await the results. So, if you are saying your prayers tonight, could you include me? I am scared for myself, and for my little family. I should know something tomorrow, or Monday.

Nicole, I'm so sorry that you are going through all of this. You are in my thoughts and prayers. *hugs* I'm hoping that they have your answers tomorrow and that all will be good. We are a sisterhood here and will always be here to send prayers, hugs and encouragement. I've recently gone through the whole biopsy scare too...try to rest and let us know as soon as you can what is going on.

Nicole I'm glad you posted about this in here. I thought of you all day yesterday and about how scared you must be and how the not knowing must be driving you insane. I will continue you to keep you in my thoughts and prayers, and as soon as you know something, my dear, please let us know! Sisters, farmgirls, and penpals (!!!) are always here for you!

Sending up some prayers for you Nicole!
Father, please give Nicole peace as she waits for the results of her tests. Let her know that she is held so tightly in Your arms and that it's going to be all right. We pray for a favorable report and that soon she will be able to breathe a big sigh of relief! Help her to trust in You when she doesn't know what to do and shower her with your unfailing love. In Jesus' name, AMEN!

To all my wonderful friends here, thank you so much for all your kind words and emails. I don't feel so alone in this! I haven't heard anything yet, and the waiting is AGONY. I will let you all know as soon as I hear something. Thank you all so very, very much. When I count my blessings, having found the Sisterhood is one of them, for sure. I promise to keep you all posted.

Okay, no word today. Tried to call the office, but they said the doctor was in surgery all day. Made myself make a small batch of strawberry jam to perk myself up a bit and pass the time. Thank you all for all your kind posts and emails today. It means sooooo much to me. I am so glad to be here. I will let you know when I hear something!

I'm praying for you, too Nicole! I am a midwife, and I practice gynecolgy. Sometimes it is hard to get a really, realy good picture of what is going on in the breast. I have a small practice compared to an OB- gyn, but ALL of my clients who have gome through all the testing you have gome through, have come back normal. Hopefully, you will fall right into that pattern and all will be well. ~ Mary LD
