Enjoy reading your site, and your garden is looking great. Sounds like you had a nice Mother's day, so did I, lots of plants cards big kids, little kids and a nice dinner at my oldest daughters house.
Sorry to hear that your Mom is not doing well, liked the picture you posted of her, makes us remember and understand how they were no different from us in their younger years.
Keep writing, and get started on that book~!!

Hey Farm Girls!!
I received my packet in the mail last night!!! Beth, I will send the info back to you shortly. Don't have any pics; I live by myself and really don't do photos much, but next Sunday, my family is having a big birthday party for my brother, my sister and my niece, and we will be taking photos. I will have someone take a couple of me.
I am excited and will get mail out in the next few days.

Beth, I got my packet and sent it back. I'm sorry, but I couldn't find a picture -- my photo albums are at my mil's in one of those boxes and I hated to start unpacking everything (she's really neat and orderly and I would have made a huge mess in her finished basement). As soon as I can find one, though, I'll send one to everyone.
Thanks so much for doing all the work of getting the survey and list of addresses out to everyone. That was very sweet of you! I started some letters but need to finish them tonight and get them in the mail tomorrow. This is so much fun -- it's like I'm 13 again, with a Girl Scout pen pal from Switzerland!

Thanks so much for the wonderful package!!!!! The seeds, homemade rooster and apron are just perfect for my life. The apron is so lovely, I think that I will frame it rather than wearing it.

I have the packet around here somewhere, but things are hectic so I've misplaced it! We have 4 more days of school and then I can focus on stuff around here. I'll try to do a search for it this weekend so I don't hold everyone up! (Sorry! :( )

Connie..I did get your tractor postcard..and I LOVE it!! The kids came running in from the mailbox waving it yelling...MOM!! YOU HAVE FARMGIRL MAIL!!!!!!!!!!!!! Thanks so much!
And Marlene...yours came today!! Thank you! I just love to get mail! I will be getting some letter writing done on Tuesday when husband is back at work and the kids are done with all the crazy busy last week of school stuff. I think this is so fun!

| Hi Connie, yes I got your tractor postcard. It's up on my kitchen wall because my kitchen has a lot of red and blue in it and the card fits right in. Thank you so much. Yes Jan I received your postcard and loved it. I grew up in Northern Illinois near Rockford and spent many great summers in Wisconsin (Hayward, Lake Geneva and Wild Rose-where my grandmother was born). The photo made me feel like I had flown North for a visit.
