| Hi Beth, no I'm not going. I usually work weekends, but this weekend I have off on Sat for my Dad's 80th b-day party. Family's all getting together, hope the weather holds out so we can be outside. |

Ok Ladies- I hate to do this but I will have to close the pen pal group to new members. I want to keep it a small group so that it's easy to manage. However, if anyone wants to start a new group go right ahead.
Look for your info packs soon I am sending them out today.
Anyone come up with a name yet?

We removed the address from Patti's post, because we feel it is the safest thing to do. However, we're all in the same family here, and we don't want anyone to be left out of our circle because they're not electronically-enabled. So please do send Patti a letter. Keep in touch.
We do have that mechanism via the forum, to orchestrate communications the old-fashioned way (snail mail or across the fence). We'll just keep it behind the scenes; we'll keep it in our "circle", for members only-for Farmgirls only (and Farmboys, too, if you trust them)! So, if one of us is going to be "off-line", let's trade our contact info directly, rather than displaying it for the world. Then it'll be sure to only get passed around to those that you want to have it.

Also thank you to Gabe- for the gazillion emails (LOL) and for watching out for everyone. As my mother always said - better to be safe than sorry!
So our little pen pal group is all set, I have put the list together and sent it in todays mail. A quick reminder- make sure you put the correct postage on especially to New Zealand.

So has anyone gotten the packet I sent out? I put them out in the Wisconsin mail at my work and they are notoriously slow. Won't go there again. If you haven't received anything by tomorrow, lert me know and I will resend it.

Well I can't say I am surprised that the US Postal service can be slow. Hopefully I do not offend anyone who is a postal employee! Anyway- as far as you r questions on how this all works let me break it down for y'all.
There are no rules to this. Send to whoever you want as often as you want. Send a big letter or simple post card. Write one letter and copy it to everyone. Do what ever works best for you. It is more important to just write people than it is how much you write. So let the fun begin. I am adding Kelley to the list and will send her details to each of you. SHe was the only one who missed the deadline so I felt it was right to add her so welcome miz kelley to our fun group.
For anyone who hasn't received their info, let me know and I will resend it this week. Let's give it til Monday.
So ladies- hope you're all having a great weekend and have a happy mother's day!
