I love to wear and most of the time only make bib type aprons.
As , I am short and get things all over me when I cook
When I make bib aprons.
I use a good brand name of spray starch to cover the apron in front and the skirt part.
I iron it dry ;
this helps to prevent stains from settling in;
when I notice a spot I will but a stain remover on it too ; it most all the time comes out
Also,
When I wash it some times I add a safe colored bleach to the apron to brighten it up.
Hope this helps with keeping your aprons neat.
I thought this up when I am often getting myself covered in messes in the kitchen; lol hugs sheila

Thanks Sheila - I am a mess in the kitchen, and often I wear the same apron just so I don't get my others dirty - go figure:)
