Hey girls...some of you folks have been requesting pics from Vi's party and I just got them from my father in law. He was diagnosed with colon cancer a week before her party and had surgery immediately, so he hasn't been feeling the best so that accounts for the delay...Still, he takes wonderful pictures, so I thought I'd share

This is Violet and her "Aunt" Cathy (and the Happy Birthday Banner Jus and I made for the party!)

Jus, Violet and I in the kitchen watching everyone come in to get their lunch

Too much Party, already!!!

Her lovely little cake (lemon cake with lemon curd and cream cheese icing)

Singing Happy Birthday (of course, I'm crying!)

Violet and her "Dada"

Happy St. Patrick's Day :)

Violet and her Great Grandma Lynch

Such beautiful pictures. I love the cake... I used to cry too when they were that little, I warned my son & future DIL that on June 18th I would probably be crying through the entire wedding ceremony...Enjoy every day with her..before you know it she will be walking down the isle...She is beautiful!!!

Hope all your days are Sunnydays.

Thanks, Diane and Annika...I'm glad to know you cried, too, Diane. I couldn't even stop the tears! She was so sweet, standing there wondering why all those people were gathered round the table. It's a wonderful culmination of all the emotions that you experience during the first year (and you think, "Wow, we made it! On to the next!"

She loves to smile, Annika...a very happy little girl!

Thanks, Lessie--spring is one of my favorite seasons, and Violet's my favorite flower. When she was going to be born around Spring, it was a no brainer :)

Thank you Lainey and Marian...she's a happy little girl and thanks for the compliments to Jus--he's a beautiful man, I agree :)

Love the pics, Violet is so cute and happy. I especially like the big grin with those baby teeth.
Enjoy her, they grown up soooo fast.

Thanks, Kathy...that she is. Those "tufers" are coming in at great speed, now. The third one (you see poking through in the St. Patty's pic) is already through and now she's working on molars based on her chomping methods :) You are SO right about them growing too fast...

Jonni, she is a doll! I can't believe she's already over a year old now. I just love the sleeping on her daddy's shoulder's picture. I have a picture of my youngest on her 1st birthday when she fell asleep in her highchair with her cake. Those are the best. Did you make her cute little owl shirt? And the cake sounds too yummy. You'll have to give me the recipe. Yumm!

That will be a day you will never forget. You did a beautiful job on her cake and the whole party. She looks like she is having so much fun, not overwhelmed one bit. Some of the parties I have been too were so much the poor kids didn't know what to think of it! Me either lol!!Loved the close up of her smile and those new teeth!
