CeeJay, give Bramble a hug for me. Poor doggie. I just hate that. I hope she heals very fast. I make a paste of termeric and aloe. It really works fast on open wounds.

Judy, the last time I went to LJS was about 3 years ago and I got sick. I have not been back since. And we went to the other fish place something like that and got sick from that fish too. I think it's all the nasty grease and breading. So I am not going to eat at any of those places again.

It's HOT today here. I'm going to have to wait til this evening to get in my garden.

Kris

Sorry I missed out, ladies. We didn't get done with the installation until 11:30 but now I can keep the bedroom cool. It was 80+ last night when we turned it on and it got way cool! I am so happy! No more window units or heating towers. We will be comfy all year now and I can hang flowers outside of my upstairs windows. I'm so excited.

Maybe next time there's a get together I can be there, too.

Thanks girls for all the concern and cheer. I am better now, but I should know better than to eat that stuff. I have such a finiky system anyhow. I always have to watch what I eat. My system hates grease and breading. But I let my guard down this once because I was so hungry and wanted instant "whatever"...well I sure 'nuff got it!! lol

We had a different kind of "SPRING-FLING" here yesterday. The wind was HORRIBLE!!!! We live in the SW corner of Colorado and the wind blows in the red dirt and dust from New Mexico, Arizona and Utah . . it was AWFUL!! Visibility was reduced to 1/2 mile!!!
And, it was so strong that everything was getting "sprung-flung" around!!!

Today is lovely . . sun is out and no wind!!!!

By the way . . . Bramble is much better. She seems to be less sore and her wounds are starting to heal. She was perkier when I got home from work last night . . and this morning able to jump up on the bed again!! I'm thankful for that!

At work today . . .my sis is watching Beverly Hillbillies . . fun!!
Grannie reminds me of my mother-in-law SOOOOOOOOO MUCH!!!!!
You girls have a spunky springy-flingy day!!!

Happy Springy-Flingy to you too! lol Glad Bramble is getting better. Poor pup. Ya, yesterday and half of today has been amazingly windy. A "tie it down or it's gone" kind of day! We had a storm come thru about 3am. Very noisy when yer tryin to sleep. I can't imagine having a mother-in-law that reminds you of "GrannyClampett." What a hoot.Have a great evening CJ!

Okay girls . . I been flinging spring all over the place. Had two days off, which were really nice weather days and I was able to get out and take my poochie on LONG power walks . . . yesterday I was also able to get some more flowers beds cleaned and my herb garden cleaned out. And I flung that dead stuff from last year all over the place . . YAY!!!!

Feels good to clear it out and see the new greenery coming up! We had TONS and TONS of snow and it just flattened all that dead stuff onto the ground . . . in some ways making it harder to grab ahold of and fling!!!

My poochie, Bramble, is very much on the mend and back to her usual activity. I "flung" tennis balls across the yard for her to catch.
She is quite the "ball dog" . . . loves to do the tennis ball thing.

Well, I'm off to my cardmaking table . . gotta get a few more done tonight.

LET's GET OUT THERE AND "FLING" SOME "SPRING". . . for APRIL
. . .for FARMGIRLS!!!
. . .for SPUNKIES!!!!

Diane . . after today with my sis my spring is sprung and my fling is flung too!!! WOWIE - ZOWIE!!!!!

We have had some beautiful spring days this week . . . I was off Weds. and Thurs. and was able to "fling some spring" around those days . . . .in more ways than one!!! :) :) :)

Had to work yesterday and today . . both days REALLY NICE but I couldn't be outside. But, watch out . . got some more days off coming (and a little extra time) and I AM GOING TO "FLING SOME SPRING"!!!!!

Maybe in some shorts . . . and that'll be the first time my legs have seen daylight for a while . . . it's been winter here!!!

HAPPY SATURDAY . . what's left of it . . . to you all!!!

Hey Spunkies, I had a great time on Friday...I took my niece and my sister to Galena, IL (a cool historic town). We had fun singing and car dancing all the way there. Did some shopping, I scored in a vintage store. Fun!
Saturday, my new foster dog arrived. My rescue group, Friends of Noah, saved 3 dogs from an Ohio pound that were getting euthanized this weekend.
I wasn't ready for a foster yet, I didn't want one until my yard is fenced. In this situation I caved in. I got a 20 lb mutt named Suzy Q, she is very friendly and having fun with my dog Molly. So sad that so many dogs are just thrown away. Just made a lot more work for myself, but in the end it is worth it.
For today, I am going to try to finish our Spunky T-shirt design. There is just not enough time in a day for us Spunkies!
