I am going to invite you all over in the summer to my hammock under the pines. I am going to hang some votives in jars and bring some pillows and lemonade. Laptops can come too, along with little pink mouses. We can swing in the hammock and count the fireflies.

Getting ahead of myself, it's getting dark, let's start up that firepit and bring on the smores!

I am thinking that all the Spunkies are out on the town tonight! Probably at the Spunky Old Broads Bar dancing on the tables.

Ya'll are too computer techno for me. I do have a photobucket acct. I have to have someone show me how things work. I can't read directions. Once I see how it's done I'm good to go. I just did get a computer 1 1/2 years ago. So see?

I love that hat too. Here, have some more cookies. I need some too.

I am actually pretty dirty right now. My feet especially. I hate wearing shoes. And I am like ya'll. Braless. Hate those too.

I was jsut outside and it's so quiet. The cows are in the front pasture and the horses are across the road in the hillside pasture. The goats and chickens are going to bed. It's a nic eevening.

I am lighting the firepit . . .cedar . . .I LOVE THE SMELL of cedar fires!!!!

As soon as it gets going good we'll put the cookie sheet on with the grahams to get them warmed up and toasted a smidge . . with squares of chocolate on them . .
. . .milk chocolate or dark???

And while they are toasting a bit we can get the metal skewer and toast marshmallows . . . I like mine really smooshy on the inside and BURNT on the outside.

Here goes . . fire lit and going. Won't be long!!!!

CeeJay, I can do any of those colors. It is 100% natural raffia and it is colorfast. I do have a pretty pale pink in stock right now. I can get purple or teal also. I use recycled fabric for the band. I will look at your site and pick out something.

Did you know it was some French MAN who invented bras?? *harumph* What would he know about it? I find them to be most miserable and do without as much as I can. I look at them in the store and wonder . . . in great wonder . . how anyone could actually wear some of them!!! THEY DRIVE ME CRAZY!!!!!!!

I don't like shoes either . . . and off them come whenever. I HATE IT WHEN MY FEET GET HOT!!!!!

Shall I tell you the story about going barefoot in the chicken house when I was a kid?????

Well, I know that "classygram" and "KayB" were going to try to drop in sometime . . both had family gatherings they were involved in.
Perhaps I shouldn't have picked Easter weekend. But it's okay for us to have a small intimate "SPUNK-IN".
I expect Annika will be back before too long.

Kris . . . I wish I could come help ya' with Photobucket . . . but maybe someday we can figure that out.

I HATE bras too! My daughter and my friend don't understand, they even wear them to bed! I don't wear one unless I have to and the minute I am home I unhook it and pull it out through my sleeves. I don't like to be barefoot, I usually am wearing boots, even in the summer. CeeJay tell us the story about barefooting in the chicken coop and pass me another marshmallow. You can have mine, I burnt it.

Well, my parents raised about 300 laying hens . . meant having a HUGE chicken house with nests that my dad made out of 55 - gallon drums, he used a cutting torch on to make doors, welding on metal legs, etc. We had to gather eggs TWICE a day, usually getting about 1/2 bushel each time.

I decided to go barefoot in there once upon a time . . . dad was always putting fresh straw in there on the floor, but . . . .

EEEEWWWWWWWWWW!!!!! chicken poo all over the place, in between my toes, was an adventure that I didn't do more than twice!!!

Diane,
I'd like a hat and purple would be my first choice . . . do you have to make one if I want purple? And would it be a "dusty" shade or bright?

Be sure you pick out aprons to equal a fair barter . .

I think we should continue this spring fling thing until the end of the month. What do you girls think? It is a "virtual" gathering so we can just keep on spring flinging as the urge arises.

That's OK CeeJay, Bramble cleaned it up for me. I know dogs aren't supposed to have chocolate, but it was mostly marshmallow anyhoo.

I have to make the hat anyway CeeJay, so purple it is. It is not dusty, it is almost grape colored. I have a couple of orders to fill, but I should get the raffia in a couple of days. I will look at some of your aprons. I love antique florals and anything black and white with red trim. I need one to cover when I don't wear a bra which is most of the time.
