Oh, Bramble you can have your pick of Apple Cinna-bone, Breath Mint bone, Peanut Butter bone or Punkin Pyze. My dog Molly will surely share. You two want to go explore for awhile?

Hey, you and that rake and Irish whatever need to be at my house workin' in the garden. That's a shame to let that look go to waste! You'd fit right in here! Maybe after the get together? You look gorgeous, by the way. And CeeJay looks way too relaxed. What kind of orchard is that? I was just out milking and gathering eggs and decided to go look at my pear and apple trees. The pear trees are just loaded with blossoms! So maybe some pears this year! I am so excited to have some pears.
I'll take whatever ya'll are having. I brought some cookies and some hot cocoa for later. It might get a little chilly.

Does Molly like to play catch? What kind of dog? Bramble, is a SWEET, FUN, FRIENDLY Australian Cattle dog . . .golden colored with dark brindle marks on her face and ears. She has BEE-YOU-TEE-FUL Big brown eyes and looks like she has eye liner, etc. on. When people ask if she is a 'girl or boy' I say "Look at that face . . .it's a GIRL face".

CeeJay, I love that hat. We could both fit under that one for some shade. The irish cream is starting to kick in and that customer just wrote and said she loves the hats and will keep them. Fire pit and smores, yummy.

Hey Kris . . .glad to see you!! Do you have a picture to share?
What kind of cookies did you bring? WOW!!! YUM!!! I hardly ever get cookies baked any more.
The trees in the immediate background are pears . . .some of the best in the world. Behind them and stretching far and away are all kinds of apples. To the left of the pears are cherries . . .SWEET, DARK . . SUMPTIOUS!! There was a wonderful crop this year!!!!
That is all part of an orchard that my dad planted . . .further back and to the right are PEACHES . . the BEST!!! Apricots and plums!!!
My parents are both gone now and we sold the property and so we no longer own the orchard, but the neighbors who bought it let us have as much fruit as we want. The fence is a game fence because we have tons and tons of deer. And that fence serves me well as my "clotheline".
Whatcha wanna drink now, Miss Kris???

Wow CeeJay, you have a virtual jam and jelly goldmine just over your clothesline! Pass me some of those cookies, they gotta taste better than these doggy treats I am baking! Geesh, I do look a little tipsy in that picture! My eyes always squish up when I smile. I was raising my glass and toasting to all the Spunky Old Broads!

I am jumping on that exercise bike and pedaling some of this tension off! What will the neighbors think of that?

I can not get pictures on here. I have tried. My daughter has tried. And that's a good thing. I hate my picture being taken. Anyway, The cookies are Cowboy cookies. Full of all kinds of good stuff. And lots of chocolate and nuts. So what goes good with cookies? How bout some good ole fresh goat milk? I have plenty of that right now.
Your dog is so cute. I have Rat terrier sisters that will be 13 this July. I think Zoe has Alzheimers. I went to the mailbox earlier and heard this little dog barking on the road. It was Zoe. She'd decided to take a walk and she must have forgotten who I was because she was just a barking away at me. It was so funny. And I have Bubba, a yellow Lab. He's a mess. 3 years old.
That orchard is just beautiful. I am trying to get mine going. Pears are my favorite.

well, you're still upright and the rake is upright!!! Yup, jam and jelly GALORE . . . and I do make it. Those cherries make the best cherry crisps, ice cream topping and jam!!! It's all EXCELLENT!!! My dad was an expert orchardman . . . and he loved farming. Our house is built on 3 acres of what was part of our family family that my dad deeded to us when we started talking about building a house. We have a spectacular view on 3 sides, and are protected on the north by the natural woods of cedars, pinon pines, etc.
Oh more neighbors driving by . . *wave, wave* . . . what's that a *HONK HONK*!!!

Zoe sounds like one of us Spunkies. Sometimes I forget people and bark at them too! These cookies are so good and full of stuff, just like cowboys. I will pass on the goat's milk for now, I am still sipping my Bailey's.

Kristin, if you get a free account at photobucket it is easy to put pictures on here. Once you upload your picture to photo bucket there will be some boxes under the photo. Copy the box that says image url and just paste it into the message box on the reply to this topic link. You can't put photos on with a quick reply box. It's way easier than I thought when I was reading the instructions for posting photos, it sounded really hard. I am electronically challenged and if I can do it, so can you.

Molly is BEAUTIFUL!!! I'd share a pic of Bramble, but I don't have any in the files on this laptop and my hubby is on the other 'puter where most of the picture files are. This laptop is new and I'm loving it!!!! Up until a couple of weeks ago we were still on SLLLLLLLLOOOOOOOOWWWWWW dial-up. Then we got our high speed DSL working properly. My daughter and I went shopping for a laptop while she was here from Phoenix on her spring break and then I got a wireless router, installed it and . . . well, WOWIE ZOWIE . . what a difference and we are now UP TO SPEED . . sorta!!!
Anyway, haven't gotten many pics loaded into this little dahling . . . . There is a non-plussed photo of her at the bottom of my "fromacelticheart" blogspot. And one of Skye the cat . . queen of everything!!!

Awesome CeeJay, now you can keep up with the farmgirls and the spunkies on your deck or wherever. Isn't technology great sometimes? Just think we can have a virtual spring fling from all across the country! It still would be so great if we could really get together though wouldn't it.

I just went to your blog and saw Bramble and Skye...adorable. Molly and Bramble would probably be great buddies, they could compare eyeliner! I love your blog. I read it whenever I need a friend.

I sell those raffia sunhats at a co-op and farmer's market for $38.00. I would consider a barter with you. I just love your aprons. What color do you like? I have many colors to choose from. Pass me another cookie, I am going to dunk it in my spiked coffee.
