Dear fellow Spunkies, I hope to have the T-shirt design in time to share at the spring fling. I have gotten behind on it due to an order for some hats that I had to re-make. Also, my dog treats sold out and I have to do some baking and stock the shelves at the co-op. Also, I started working two days a week at a new job. Also, I am trying to make a lot of sun-hats for the farmer's market that opens on the 8th of May. Also, Also, Also, I sound like a broken record. The design is pretty cute and funny, I am putting the finishing touches on it. Brian let me know that Mary Janes says we can use MaryJanesFarm on the shirts!

YAY!! Diane . . I'm glad to hear that MJF can be used on the shirts!!!! I understand the "also, also, also" . . . I'm in the same boat. I feel like there is NEVER enough time to do whatever I need to do. My hubby and I have a craft booth at our Farmers Market so I am trying to get my inventory built up for that. It opens the first Saturday in June.
Anyway, looking forward to seeing the shirt . . . and
see all you Spunkies tomorrow!!! Take a pic of yourself in your favorite spunkie outfit and post if you can!!!
HAPPY FRIDAY!! CJ

I will do my darnedest to be there. My son is coming over to install our heating and air conditioning in the upstairs part of our house, so hopefully he'll be gone and I'll be collected enough after assisting in time to attend. If not, I will fondly dream of it and all of you SOBs.

Oh CJ I so want to be there, but will be at a Easter family gathering. If I get home in time to catch some of it, is it ok to come in late?

I want to come too. I hope to be able to. I don't have a thing to wear though. So I'll probably be barefoot with pants and a tshirt. Nothin' fancy for me. Sorry. But I can't wait to see what everyone else puts together. I'll have to milk goats around the time it starts. But I'll jump in when I can. Ya'll have fun!
See ya'll soon! Kris

Now, I decided to wear COMFY pants, shirt and my favoritest apron!!!! I don't have any crocs, but as you know I'm the "barefoot farmgirl from SW Colorado". This is my deck and this picture was taken just a short while ago.
Anyone wanna try out my funky, retro exercise bike????
Come on up, pull up a chair, get comfy . . .

Wow CeeJay, you have a beautiful view! What a great place for the stationary bike, and I love your apron! Needless to say, the T-shirt design is still not done. I have had just a horrible experience with an order for 3 sunhats for triplets. I have made them over twice and just got an e-mail from the lady who bought them. Long story short she is over the top about the first hats I febreezed with lavender. I made them over without febreeze and she says she can still smell it and has washed them twice, etc... I just e-mailed her and said I would take them back and give her back her money. Geesh, I also found out she does this all the time....thanks for telling me now! I will be on here in a bit with a picture. I am baking dog treats, the co-op where I sell them is almost out. I am not feeling very spunky right now, maybe I will have a little irish cream whiskey in my coffee. I'll see ya in a few and let you know how its working.

That is the Sleeping Ute Mountain in the background and it has fresh snow on it as of Thursday!!!
Well, one of my neighbors just came by . . . saw my outfit!!! :)

Well, I know some are out feeding their critters and will stop by later . . . So, hopefully there will be more.
Are your sunhats that you are taking back for kids or adults? Don't you just want to smack people like that. I've had to deal with a few like that!!!
Do you have pictures somewhere of your sunhats?
How do ya' like that hat I'm wearing? Actually it's my hubby's hat . . . and it is a HAT!!!!!! Watching him heading of the hill on his 4-wheeler with that on to go feed his cows is kind of a funny sight!!!

Spunky ol' me wearing my overalls, so nobody knows that I am not wearing a bra. Also vintage apron and note the red leopard clogs. That cup has irish cream whiskey with a splash of coffee! Slante' to all the Spunkies!

Gosh, I look like I am drunk already!

My hats are picture on the thread March is national crochet month. I just bumped it so you can just go to active topics. I make raffia sun hats for adults and the cotton ones for kids. There are a couple different photos on there so scroll down. I really need to make those dog treats, so I am going to start them and while they are in the oven I will be back on here.
