Mine is Ann. As explained in an earlier post, being brought up Catholic you were named after saints. I like my middle name and totally dislike my first name. Mom prayed to St. Gerard who is the patron saint for pregnant mothers. Low and behold, if I was a boy guess what my name would have been? So to make matters worse she blessed me with the first name of Geraldine! O dear, to this day I still struggle with it!

Mine is Ann. Tracy Ann. I like it. Wonder what my mom was thinking when she named me because: Five kids & their names- John Abraham Daniel Patrick Tracy Ann -me Mary Catherine William David Such strong names and when it came to me I got "Tracy". I like my name but wonder back in 1954 where that came from!

My middle name is Delaine ..... so is my mother's, my eldest daughter's, and the older of my brother's twin girls. Basically, it's the middle name of all of the eldest daughters.

Channah, to answer your question, my middle name Kathleen is Irish for pure. My whole name, Megan Kathleen, means a pure pearl. Megan is Welsh for pearl, and obviously Kathleen is Irish for pure. God's Blessings, Megan aka Loretta Rae

Thanks Megan. Alot of people think it is Sh-annah or Jhannah, but it sounds like Hannah. :) It's just the hebrew spelling. Hugs, Channah

My middle name is Ellen. My Grandma Smith's was Ellen, also. She was Mamie Ellen and I am sort of glad they did not name me Mamie.

Whenever I read your name, Channah, I say the ch sound and then Anna only I say it like onna. So the way I say it, it would probably be spelled Chonna. I'm probably not saying it right:) But I still like the name! God's Blessings, Megan aka Loretta Rae

Mine is Beverly but when people ask what the B stands for I usually say Best as my mom new I would always be the best, then because I can't tell a lie I always say it's Beverly it was my moms middle name, when she married my dad she dropped it and used her maiden name Nimsker as her middle name.

Well, I don't have a middle name. My name is Mary Jane. It should be hyphonated or put together. But, I just never do it. I was named after my Irish great grandma who raised my Mom. Mary Jane Kelly.
