My middle name is Fialka...I've never rally liked it, but in the last few months I've found that it is Russian for Violet... which is really my favorite little wild flower My grandmother on my mother's side was Urania Rose and I had an aunt Minerva and aunt Theva...so odd names do seem to run on my mama's side of things....Dad's side is all old fashioned and prim names =)

I am a legacy girl like Teresa. The first baby girl on my Mum's side all have the same middle name - Jean. I was always a little confused that I had the same middle name as my Mum, Gammy, cousins and such but now I embrace the tradition. Annika I love your middle name - such a beautiful name for such a wee little flower :-)

Mine is Jean and so was my mom's! My dad's middle name was Eugene and both my brothers have the middle name of Eugene. My dad had a sign carved for the gate once that said "Eugene, Jean, Eugene, Jean and Eugene!" I always thought that was cool!!

Mine is Maureen... traditionally for Irish, daughter's middle name is Mother's first name. I love it... and it sounds like a melody with my first name... it rolls off the tongue nicely.

Mine is Elizabeth, but the funny thing is reading about you ladies with the middle name 'Jean' that's been 'passed' down through the generations...my sister's middle name is Jeanne, which is also my mother's middle name...Jean/Jeanne must be the name to pass on, lol.

Mine is plain ole Lynn. I also named my DD Abby Lynn also. She was just asking me the other day why her middle name is Lynn. Was it because that's what mine is? No. It's the only thing that sounded good with Abby. So there! And we are the only Lynn's in my family that I know of.

I am an unusual person...because I've always liked my name, first and middle. Linda Ann my first name came from a song in 1949 called "When I go to sleep I never count sheep. I count all the charms about Linda". oops got off of the middle name topic LOL

Mine is just plain old Ann...then again, with such a freaky first name, I'm glad, lol. I've only heard of one other person named Marcelina in my whole life and I have always hated my first name. It's comical how so many people look at me as if I have just stepped off of another planet when they hear what my name is.
