Today's list:
1. Make the bed. DONE 2. Wash and dry (x2) a load of laundry. DONE 3. Sign, package, and send out 25 (out of 51) membership letters at work. DONE WITH ALL OF THEM :D!!! 4. Write out recipes for recipe exchange. DONE 5. Send recipes for recipe exchange. TOMORROW 6. Send camera-ready ad to be listed in off-site event program. TOMORROW 8. Do income taxes. WHENEVER I CAN STOMACH IT BEFORE THE DEADLINE HAHA 9. Keep working on shawl for silent auction. DONE (with that part of it, anyway...) 10. Fold and put away yesterday's laundry. DONE 11. A lot of these are left over from yesterday, or continuations or yesterday's projects. It looks like a long list, but I usually figure on doing the larger projects in pieces :} And the regular everyday stuff, like laundry and dishes, doesn't take long at all.

Man, I've been slacking on my list. I didn't do one today or yesterday because Trent has been home. But I'll tell you what I did get done today :)
1. 2 loads dishes 2. 1 load laundry 3. Gym for an hour 4. Went to a garage sale and FINALLY found a bobbin case for one of my treadle machines 5. Made a square foot garden box with hubby 6. LOTS of weeding and still haven't even touched what's out there. 7. Picked violets and made violet jelly 8. Grocery store 9. Finished sewing my new apron on my treadle machine (my first treadle project...I'm hooked!). 10. Sewed my Sisterhood badge onto my new apron.
Whew! I'm pooped!

I was so busy today after getting back from my meetup with the Michigan farmgirls that I didn't even have time to get on here and make a list. I was a cleaning mad lady today! My house is nice and sparkly clean...for the moment...until the boys wake up in the morning :)

Oh I have been a busy little bee. I've been trying to get here, but.... Well you know how that can go sometimes.
But guess what I did today?! I rode with my mom to see my aunt, who's husband passed away a few weeks or so ago! She has been wanting to go so bad and her anxiety has been getting the best of her. So I suggested we leave real early on a Sunday morning, before everyone start getting out to go to church and we take the "scenic" route (which is every back raod and side street we can think of) and chit chat and we should make it there and she should be ok. So that's what we did. What is about a 30 minute drive was more like an hour, but we didn't care. We wiped our day clean of chores and errands and demands from other people so there was no pressure on either one of us.
We visited for a while at my aunts. The boys (my cousins, one of which just came in from working third shift at the casino) made us all breakfast. We loved on all her poochies. From there we headed over to my aunt's re-sell shop. Wound up with a van load of stuff to bring back home. Oh there was more I wanted to try to cram in mom's van, but not until I get moved! Anyhoo then we dropped the boys back off at the house and we went to the high rise apts mom's friend lives in and we visited with her for a bit. Then went to visit my other cousin, my aunt's daughter. Visited a bit more over at my aunt's house and then we stopped and ate lunch at one my mom's and her late husband's favorite places to eat. So now we are stuffed and bloated to the gills, but it was all worth it!
