I wasn't able to attend Good Friday service, but I was praying. My mom and I haven't tackled the upstairs yet, but I'm sure we'll do something before bed. When I went to vacuum my room, I realized the vacuum was broke! I'll have to save that for another day.

"Mom, I want to buy this. What can I do to make some money?" This makes my day so much easier, not to mention keeps her entertained for a couple of hours. DONE
3. Work on some projects a tote and crocheted purse most of the way finished and 2 dishcloths crocheted
4. of course dinner and dishes later DONE
5. then we are going to the circus this eveing. had a good time but left at intermission

My list today:

1. Grocery shop for the couple more things I need for tomorrow (Easter basket and dinner items).
2. Diaper wash.
3. Go crazy
4. Go crazy
5. Go crazy

Ok...seriously, I won't really go crazy, but Easter weekend is always kinda go go go until I drop because my husband is the music pastor at church and I am on the worship team so, with 5 services for the Easter weekend we go non-stop. I'm going to be exhausted by the last service tomorrow and will probably fall asleep at my pastor's house afterward (he and his wife invited us over for Easter dinner, which is nice because we'd have to drive an hour and a half to get to Trent's parents' house and that would be even more exhausting.

Siobhan, that sounds like one crazy weekend! I'm taking the day off! My Mom is probably going to take me to Half Price Books later, and I'm just going to knit. Hopefully I can get to Michaels. For a Christmas present, I'm making my aunt and uncle a homemade crocheted afghan. I want to get it started now!

Yay, Channah! About what size are your dishcloths? I'm trying to figure out a good size for mine, and I can't seem to find a good middle.

clothedinscarlet, your list for 3 April looked a lot like mine lol. Too funny.

Today's list:

1. Wash and dry bedclothes and remake the bed. DONE
2. Fold laundry that *somehow* ended up in a pile on the piano :D. DONE
3. Put away items from yesterday's sewing project (I was finishing up an Easter Bunny costume; I got to be in a magic show yesterday at work as the bunny himself :D)
4. Wash the dishes and shine the sink. DONE
5. Read my Sisterhood newsletter. DONE (I always seem to do the fun stuff first, it seems...)
6. Drive out home to see the folks for a leisurely Easter dinner and visiting. DONE (forgot the Easter Bread, though, and didn't realize it until I was halfway there; put it in the freezer when we got back home :})

The weather's fine today, hopefully it will be a good motivator! I hope you all have a pleasant Easter. Is anyone else having Italian Easter Bread? It will be my first time having it; it was given to us by a friend who runs a bakery here in town.

Kylie

Hi Siobhan! Every year the eighth grade class goes to D.C for a class trip, so this year I'm in 8th grade and get to go! We're leaving on the 15th in the morning, and we'll be getting back to good ol' Wisconsin the morning of the 20th. Thank God we don't have to go to school that day; I would probably fall asleep in class! I can't wait to share my adventures with you guys when I get back!

Sounds like fun Megan :D In high school I went there with our marching band to play in the 4th of July parade. It's a neat city with a lot of great history. I hope you have a fun time!

Megan, make sure you pack a really good sunscreen. That's my tip for you. If the sun is out that day, even if it's not supposed to be super hot, you do a lot of walking outside and there is little to no shade. DC is like a big magnifying glass in the sun and you will get burnt bad! Are you guys going to be making a trip to the zoo? That's one of my favorite places in DC. Definitely a must see. And the newer National Museum of the American Indian is absolutely fascinating too!
