Melanie ,I'm glad to hear that the concert was so nice :) I do hope you can get your mower fixed soon.

Melissa, how funny! Too cute too! I bet you are glad that they didn't find a fire pit :) I had to smile picturing little Melanie with her braids or pony tails in the fire pit :)

Julie, welcome! Wow, you have accomplished alot! Where do you shop online for furniture? Just curious :) I have seen furniture on E-bay (of course), overstock.com and csn stores (online).

I know I am very late getting back here. Things have been busy with Church, and helping my husband out. Today is my day off and here's the plan:

DONE:

~Made Bread
~Did 1 load laundry
~Made: Sage Honey and Violet Honey
~Made: Chive Vinegar
~Repotted Geranium
~Refilled Hummingbird Feeders
~Thawing fish for dinner tonight
~Cleaned out fridge (it's amazing with only 2 of us that there are so many jars of jelly and jam! I guess we like variety)
~Made Pink Pickled Onions
~Crockpot Yogurt is in the crockpot :)

To Do:

~DishesDONE
~Exercise (yuk!) DONE
~Correspondence Some finished
~Review Bible study for tomorrow DONE
~I want to kick back and watch Jane Eyre (came in the mail yesterday from Netflix)
~Work on favors for upcoming Ladies Tea for church
~Make a couple of phone calls DONE

I am sure that there is more :)

~Sharon

Ok, no more Mrs. Nice Guy - the kitchen will get cleaned today!! (So, which of you wants to come over and do that?)

1. Dishes - wash, dry, PUT AWAY
2. Clean fridge
3. Clear and clean countertops
4. Sweep and mop floorand I let the Boy play in a sink full of water, so the floor is almost mopped already!
5. water garden
6. laundry
7. iron DH's shirts (Yea! Teacher DH's school year is OVER! Three months of no button down shirt ironing! Yea!!!)

I might add more to that list, if I get the first 7 things done.

Everybody have a wonderful and productive day! (Melanie - glad you got your lawn mowed! That's almost as good as mower fairies.)

Melissa

Oh, I almost forgot: 8. Pamper and show compassion for whiny, hive-covered four-year old. That'll be fun. :-)

I didn't make it on this morning so here goes:

I cleaned for two clients, have dusted some of my living room, put the kids to work on their room, and I've called the washer repair service. Too bad they won't make it out till Tuesday.

I think I'm gonna eat a few cheez-its then I'm going to go soak in the tub.

Oh I'm late again. LOL

So far I have been to work and hauled off the trash. My kids are on summer break. My mom watches them and my sister's kids while my sis and I work. Mom was a big help, well she's a big help with just watching the kids and I've told her not to worry about doing anything around my house, but she got down and scrubbed my kitchen floor today. Even pulled out the fridge and stove. WOW!!! It looks great!!!

Now we need to eat some lunch, then we're off to the laundry mat again. BLUCK! Then it's dishes and dusting and sorting more stuff for the yardsale.

Melanie - I'm late too! And my mom is like yours. I used to madly clean for a couple weeks before she visited (since I'm in AK and she's in PA, it's not like she can just drop in), but then she'd STILL end up on her knees, cleaning something I'd missed (like, the bottom shelf in the fridge, or something), so now I just wait and let her pick what she wants to clean. LOL. If I'm lucky, they're here long enough to do all the "spring" cleaning!

Today:
1. bake bread (it's rising)
2. grocery shop (done, but grr! I forgot the baking soda, which I need for #3)
3. bake cookies
4. write blog post
5. laundry
6. clean kitchen again (after I bake it always looks like a bomb filled with flour exploded in there)
7. clean bathroom
9. plant stuff.

I love summer!!!

Here it is the end of the day and I'm just now getting around to my list.

I'm still recovering from the weekend and my almost 2-week long streak of rotten luck (it is turning around now though ).
Anyhoo I have cleaned at the apartments, washed dishes twice, washed and dried 3 loads of clothes, took a load of boxes over to mamaw's old house, got a hold of the insurance guy, took the kids to the park, stopped by the store and forgot the milk.

The appliance guy was here this morning and fixed the washer. He said I was lucky I didn't burn up the pump, just a really nasty clog.

The weekend was insane! I was backing out of the driveay to take my girls up to spend the night with their aunt and smacked my fiance's truck. Add that to everything that has been breaking and going wrong the last week or so and you know I was super stressed out Saturday night even though he kept telling me not to worry about it. Well Sunday I spent the biggest part of the day helping my aunt go through my mamaw's things at the house. That is work that I don't mind doing at all!!! And we found out that instead of renting the house, we will get to buy it!! Still haven't worked out all of the details, but we are really really excited! Oh and Melissa, I think the lawn mower fairies put a bug in my aunt's ear. She has a mower she keeps at the house so she doesn't have to pack her's around. While we were working she told me the lawn mower stayed with the house. Isn't that awesome?! So we had some bad luck but it was blown out of the water by the good luck!

Oh, Melanie! You get to buy the house! Happy dance for you! (and for getting a new mower, too, but - the house!!! Yea!)

I've backed into my husband's car twice. (Blush) I always feel like the stereotypical wife from the comics when I see the dents.

Today:
1. blog
2. dishes
3. laundry
4. water/weed
5. knit
6. play with my clay
7. sew
8. bake cookies

Have a great day, all!

Hello girls :)

Boy I cannot find much time to post these days. Still helping my honey out in addition to church stuff, planning for a Ladies Tea and things around the house. We have not even begun to garden yet (after Memorial Day is rule of thumb here).

Melanie, that is such AWESOME news!!!! I am so excited for you

Melissa, "play with my clay" that is so cute :) I know that you create art with the clay but it sounded really cute

To Do:

~Work on devotional for Ladies Tea
~Make Marinara Sauce for tonight and freezer
~Make German Potato Salad for tomorrow night
~Cook up bacon (I do this in the oven and then just refrigerate or freeze until needed, such a time saver!)
~Pick Chives for more Chive Vinegar
~Laundry
~Ironing
~Dusting and polishing
~Change Bed Linens
~Make a couple of phone calls
~Mail bills
~Figure out what to bring to the tea, any ideas would be appreciated :)
~Make Bread
~Work on Bible Study
~Edited to add Exercise, can you tell how much I like it ;)

Let's see how that goes :)

Have a great day everyone!

~Sharon

Hi Sadiemae! Welcome to the list list!

Sharon - yikes! You always make me tired just reading your list! LOL I didn't even get to my clay table yesterday. Actually haven't for several days...and I really need to get some new stock made. But it's been SO nice outside, I just have a hard time keeping the kids (and me!) inside.

Today's Parade of Daily Activities:
1. Water/weed
2. Dishes
3. Bread
4. Change sheets
5. Laundry
6. Help Girl clean up her room (that'll keep us inside for a few hours...)
7. Clay play (I hope!)

Good day wishes to you all!
Melissa

2. go to work at the apartments done
3. dishes done
4. laundry done
5. finish going through craft supplies
6. clean the bathroom
7. work on mail art

Have a great day!!!
