I think spring is finally here!

I love the sunshine, start of green grass, and all the baby animals. I even saw two ducks flying over yesterday.

My kids are so enjoying the warmer weather and going outside without snowpants.

What signs of spring are you seeing at your place?

I'm still looking for the the first robin. Yesterday when I was out walking I saw two boys in spring coats playing trucks. They were moving the snow pile they were playing on. It was so cute.

Hope all your days are Sunnydays.

I got my first iris yesterday. I have already had my daffodils. I love the smell. The birds are all here and I love the sounds.

It's all good!

Our lilacs have started flowering out...they're still small, but they're there! The robins are back and we fell asleep listening to the frogs. Now, if only the weather would cooperate....

It didn't really hit me till the other day. I was laying in my bed listening to the birds chatter away to each other. And then I was driving the kids to school and we saw a couple of Mallards walking down the sidewalk by the park. Not to mention the weather has just been beautiful even if we have had a little rain.

My silly Hallie told me yesterday that she was glad it was rain and not snow. I asked her why that was and she said that because when the snow melts it makes mud. I asked her what she thought the rain was going to do. She just, "ohhhh". Silly girl LOL

I saw the first rummage sale in months and the first bike rider.

We had a nice warm up for several days this week but now it's cooled back down a bit. The buttercups (daffodils) are up and some are blooming here too. I can see the new grass growing and filling in with the brown now. Birds are very happy and singing away. We had some spring type thunderstorms on Friday and there's just a feeling of spring in the air.

It sure is the grass is getting to the point it will need cutting in less then a week. The lawn morrow was taken to the shop Friday for an over haul done every other year. The old man says they can see and fix things on the John Deer he might over look. Plus it will last longer. It does make life easier. The weeding in the flower bed is getting ready to show signs as well. Lilly

We saw our first snow geese fly over and are down to the last 6 inches of snow to melt off the deck <sigh>.
But you all are skirting the real harbingers of spring -- Ditches are full of winter roadkill and the dog-doo landmines are being exposed by the melting snow. <sigh> We got that too!
