Other than you, I have never received a ROAK - so imagine my surprise when I opened the mailbox! Then I opened the package W O W !!! Recently I was visiting near Austin, TX & saw a waitress wearing this really unique apron. I took a photo of her, swearing I'd create one for me when I got home (well you know how that goes!) You, my angel disguised as a farmgirl, have made for me the same!!! I can't stand still -- I'm hopping up & down with joy. YOU ARE THE BEST!! I will email you a photo of me eating your blueberrry jam, wearing your apron and grinning from ear to ear!!!! Diana, I appreciate you sooooo much. I received your package! Thank you SO much. We had returned from our trip from my parents and there was your package and I really needed it that day. I know it has been said so many times but it seems that farmgirl mail shows up just when you need it. Can't wait to try the jam. I am torn as I hate open it for it will soon be gone once I do! So thoughtful of you.

I know you didn't know it but I waved as I passed your place while we were there. We were on our way to 60 and cut across your road. Wish we could have met but I had a wonderful time spent with my folks. I spent all my time there and am very glad I did. It was nice to just be there with them.

Lin I got the wonderful package you sent. The napkins are darling and so timely. My sister came over for swimming and lunch today and I didn't have to pull out my ratty old ones that she has seen a million times. And I just love those applesauce cinnamon ornaments. I made some using a tea pot cookie cutter for my sisters' birthdays.

Victoria, you're so funny...."ratty old ones" cracks me up!! I have a few of those myself!! Glad you can use the "shiny new ones"! I hadn't thought of using larger cookie cutters for the applesauce cinnamon ornaments....I love the idea of a tea pot!! I really want to decorate some like MJ magazine shows, but ran out of time. Your welcome ladies....Anna you crack me up, I think I can almost see you dancing in the lupines!!! Denise this house always has a cupboard (or two) full of jam....all you have to do is ask. Made 22 jars of strawberry after picking on a hot Fathers Day afternoon. The birds eat all of mine in the back yard so I have to drive 10 minutes down the road to the strawberry fields and pay.....HA HA

YEE HAW!!!!!! I have been RAOK'ed for the very first time!!!!!
It is just a miracle how a small act of kindness can arrive in your mailbox at just the right time!! I find that is so many of the postings and it is amazing! I have just been spread as thin as possible for the last 6 weeks and this was such a picker-upper! I received one of my favorite cookbooks.......from schools and churches........from my Farmgirl sister Diana Weinhardt with a sweet note! Thank you so much Diana for being so thoughtful!
I hope I can do the same for some of my sisters soon. I think things are starting to settle down a little for me.

I'm hoping to get back into sending things here soon, I see some ladies hadn't/haven't been RAOKed yet.... I'm sorry for that and hope you'll continue to be patient with your fellow FG sisters.
The best laid plans and intentions etc.... You know how it goes. Please know that if you're on the list, I'm putting my hands on my list (yes, physically touching it) and saying prayers that you will all be blessed in the everyday things, that you feel loved and know that someone cares about you. Diana, looks like you're getting the RAOKs out too!! Had to chuckle at your comment about the birds eating all your strawberries so you have to "pick and pay" for your jams and jellies!!Too funny!! Dumplin and I want to thank Diana (dianaw1123) for the thoughtful roak gifts she sent to us. I love the note cards. Dumplin will be home from work at 7:30. I can't wait to see her face when she sees her mail waiting for her.
Her best friend got married at 18 (too young in my bk) and her cousin who just turned 19 works now and is too busy to visit as often as she used too, so these farmgirl gifts mean a lot to her and me too.
I love Wmsburg, was able to go there years back thank goodness before the Lyme hit me. That is a vacation we will never forget. The card is going in my scrapbook album I did just for that trip.

The kids are getting ready for the 4-H fair which starts next week. As one of our club exhibits this year we are decorating a stall in the giant Ellis barn at the fairgrounds. It was 90 degrees and the kids were hot and tired AND STARVING! Thank goodness for $5 Little Caesars pizza's! (I love the heat)I stopped at the mailbox on the way in and was thrilled to have a package waiting for me. Thought it was my July mail art. Much to my surprise and joy it was a package from YOU!!! Thank you for the great sticky notes and lovely horsey card. I use sticky notes constantly as I'm always tagging recipes or magazine articles. It made my day. I'm looking forward to sending out my RAOK but it will have to wait until after the fair! Thanks again, Diana

I rec'd two adorable vintage fabric cats from Diana Weinhardt the other day. They remind me of my childhood - I know I've seen them before somewhere. It was my first RAOK farmgirl mail and it included a nice note - thank you Diana!
