Despite the post office's attempts to destroy a perfectly innocent package, I did manage to receive a lovely (if battered) box from Karen/GA Girl today! The outside was totally destroyed but it would appear everything arrived safe and sound. She sent me some lovely pumpkin tea, a pretty blue flowered hanky, some great rainforest frog fabric, and a whole bunch of great little rubber stamps. I feel so spoiled!! Thank you SO much for thinking of me!!

Karen, Thank You so much for the wonderful package. I love the tea, the vintage hankie and fabric(my mind is already racing to decide on a project) the books are great, the soap is almost to cute to use and I absolutely love the pottery pig spoon rest!!! It was wonderful to receive a farmgirl package on such a busy day here, it forced me to sit and relax for a few minutes and enjoy your wonderful note and all the goodies you sent.

Emily, My grand daughters were here for the weekend....imagine their surprise and delight to see that Nana got a package in the mail!!! :)
Of course I let them open it for me, and out fell a beautiful shawl with musical notes on it!! And my favorite color too!!! The girls had so much fun with it over the weekend, playing dress up and "concert", we have 2 pianos here so they just had an awesome time! One of them said I should put the shawl on one of the pianos, one of them said I should wear it, and the third wanted to take it home!

yes, the dog got ahold of him and my bf got him from him.. his back legs are injured so nursing him. hopefully i can return him to wild someday but if not, he is making himself at home here eating with the cats.. hes so cute and tame. i named him figaro

Last week I received a book with patterns for embroidering kitchen towels and some aida cloth. I'm at work and disremember the lady who sent it. But, many thanks! I am already trying to decide what to do first. I'm in the Hanging by a Thread Henhouse and this may just be the ticket. Thank you. I look forward to stitching the patterns.

Saturday was FG mail day for me and as always - perfect timing...
Thank you CJ for the magazines, two of my favorites... and tea to enjoy them with! 
It's hot, steamy and stormy here today - so I look forward to staying in the AC and transporting myself across the globe to a tearoom in Scotland (even if it's all in my mind - some days that's about all there is!  ) Thank you!!
