thank you all for the compliments on my tablerunner. I am making several more for some lucky RAOK participant. I would love to do one for everyone on the list but not sure I will have the time, with two new grandbabies coming this year I need to complete quilts for them.

I received a surprise package from my beloved sister, Lin:) Thank you so much for the darling recipe cards and the very cute oven mitt!! Love the magnetic note pad, too! I sooo needed the recipe cards, I looked at several places yesterday for "cute" recipe cards and couldn't find any and was I surprised when I opened that wonderful package today!! Bless your kind thoughtfulness, you made my day, sis!

OH MY GOODNESS!!!!!Graciegreeneyes!! Thank you SO much for the awesome Book you sent! Girls Amy sent me "the Gift of Friendship" with all Amish pictures! And as y'all might know I am fascinated by their way of life and nothing is found here about that. SO sweet Amy sent me this book to enjoy. THANKS again dear Amy, I am SO happy with it :)

Thanks for all the wonderful RAOK gifts. I am posting a mass thankyou because my daughter was cleaning my house last week and accidentally threw out all my notes from the farmgirls. So thanks for all the cherry fabric, coasters, cherry tins and photos and pattern envelopes.
I guess I'll have to follow her around next time so she doesn't toss any of my goodies.
Sorry to not thank yoou all individually but it has so brightened up an otherwise dreary few weeks. How did you all know I needed a lift?

Thank you so very much for the wonderful raok you sent me. Thank you for being so thoughtful. I was a bit down today, but now I am doing nothing but smiling. I cannot wait to try the tea. I love the little book! I could always use note cards (how did you know that I LOVE cats and dogs I have two cats and one doggie of my own) and the tote is perfect..pink with a beautiful green polka dot ribbon. Now I have something very pretty to carry my take along knitting in. Thank you so much for brightening my day and thinking of me.

Wonderful Farmgirls,
After a Mother's Day and a birthday that my kids and husband forgot, I started to receive one RAOK/Birthday/Anniversary card/letter/present after another. In all, I have received 21 surprises in the mail from my sisters afar. While I am struggling to find the appropriate words to thank each of you personally, it is with tears of joy that I thank you publically. This forum has saved me emotionally so many times. I will never be able to repay the kindness shown by strangers. I do hope to find a way to pay it forward.

Melanie THANK YOU so much for my RAOK!!! I received the cutest music box
bird. I wound it up and it now sits on my chimney cupboard so everytime I
go past I can wind it up and play it. I love birds!!! The notecards will come
in handy for all my writing, and I was looking for a notepad just this morning
to start a list, and now I have a new one of those. You are just awesome. |

Sherone-I didn't get any gifts for Mother's Day from my kids either-they went out to lunch with me-we bought-but I did get warm wishes from fellow sisters also! It is so nice to belong to a group that truly cares for one another!
