I was watching my dogwood trees die before my eyes after I planted them. Couldnt bring myself to pull them out, kept hoping they would make it. Went out this morning to mow & they were dead. Arbor people said they would send me more, I just have to send these back but I don't know if I want to or not. Maybe it's because they are shipped but alot of plants are, I dont know. I was so frustrated after yard work I came in and redecorated my kitchen. I love it now that it's back to country-farm. Big, open & bright.

I'm sorry to hear about your trees, and I know how disappointed you must be. I'm a novice gardener, but I remember my mom had lots of trouble with baby dogwood trees, and the nursery guy at the local garden store, a man with over 30 yrs experience, told me when I was looking at a dogwood to plant at our last house that dogwoods are very tricky to get going. Hang in there!

I thought about buying a dogwood tree last year, they are so pretty! What advice would you give in planting them and maintaining them?.. I am still thinking about buying one.
