I had a bunch of jean skirts given to me, I wear dresses, so I made them ointo jean aprons that tie around the waist, cut them a little more than down the side seams, hemmed it, used the rest of the skirt I cut off and made a tie, stitched up where the snaps/buttons do uup and voila!!! It wears like iron....
That sounds excellent! I'd love to make some!!! Do you have any pictures?? I am a visual learner, although I will try anyway. That is such a great idea!
hey Terri, I have made Jean aprons from both the thighs and the butt section (pic on my katmom blog) and you are right, easy peasy to make.....and best of all, you can use up scraps of fabric to adorn them.
