It snowing 3 inches per hour.
They said it was a Nor Eastern
Hubby made it home a few minutes ago
I didn't think he would be able to make it up our step drive way ; but he did.
It already looks like 10 inches and it is pouring
our Tv is out but the Computer is still on
I hope and pray our lights don't go out ; because we have no other heat source
Hubby is suppose to get our gas fireplace going this summer.
Snow ! Snow ! and more Snow!
and guess what??
It is suppose to snow this coming Tuesday hugs sheila

Wow Sheila, I hope you don't lose your electricity either. Glad your hubby made it home safe and sound. I bet the snow is pretty though.

Holy cats,
You've had way more snow than we have up here in Michigan. And you can keep it. LOL
I don't miss it one bit

Oh it is
you can't see the mountains !
but it is so fluffy.
I always feel like I am in a snow glob when it is snowing and
some shaking me, lol
the trees are heavy with snow.
The hills are a blanket of white.
Not a sound expect the wind blowing
Hubby said he seen 2 of the biggest turkeys running across the road.
to bad he didn't have his rifle. ha.
This past couple of weeks we counted 30 turkeys in the field

the other afternoon I saw 3 little fawns in the lower field outside our bay window in the kitchen/ dining room
they were so pretty and cute running around and jumping
I am thinking how nice it was this past fall when it was a bit warmer sitting on our front porch watching the wildlife. hugs sheila

Sheila I was out driving the other day on a road that borders the Army Depot here and I saw nearly 40 wild turkeys on the Depot in a field. I about ran out of the road looking because I had not seen so many in one place at once.

Wow! Virginia is really getting blasted with snow this year! You get over one storm and get another. I wish you had your fireplace in. I don't know what I would do without my woodstove. I must say though from your description it sounds so peaceful and beautiful. I could see the scenario in my mind. Your husbands home safely, you got food and heat and all that beauty around you. I bet it will make for a really nice weekend!

We are missing a storm of 2 feet of snow by a few miles and I am very thankful for that. I'll pray that you keep your electric on and that your husband finds the time soon to get the gas fireplace running safetly soon.

Hope all your days are Sunnydays.

Yeah, we have 5 inches so far and that only took 4 hours. We went from 0 to 5 REEEEAL quick. It's gorgeous but heavy and wet! And still falling. I was saying the same thing about the power staying on. My DH doesn't get off work 'til 10pm, so say some silent prayers for our loved ones who will be out there tonight and tomorrow morning. I know I will!

We're getting hammered hard in the Mount Vernon, OH area. It has been snowing since 1:00 this afternoon and it's still dumping it hard. We're supposed to get 8-10" by noon tomorrow. Just staying warm and baking.

Good for you Tina. What-cha baking? I have a crock-pot of chicken cooking. Smells wonderful. I'm gonna make some chicken-mushroom soup for tomorrow. That'll hit the spot!

It's snowing here too- not quite as bad but I was gone for about an hour and I think an inch fell... Doug is having issues with the weather- he has been in a couple bad accidents due to bad roads and so he hates the snow.

We have a about 14 inches this morning. DH had to go in early for a 12 hour shift today. Poor guy just barely got rested up from last nights nerve-wracker, then had to go drive in it again. I will keep all of you who have to drive in it in my prayers.

Well gals,

My hubby and I just finished shoveling out the driveway. We still need to help our son dig out his car. Our next door neighbor-actually their son-in-law helped. We moved 31 inches of snow. It was soooo heavy. I feel like my arms are made of jelly! And just think, we are expecting another 4 inches in Maryland on Tues/Wed and possibly more Fri/Sat. Told my hubby I really didn't want all this snow for a B-day present. But, you get what you get! Hope everyone who got snow is safe, warm, and can dig out of this stuff.

Blessings,
Bonnie

My two neices live in Maryland. The other day the one facebooked she was enjoying being snowed in with 29 inches of snow and more falling. It's just cold here and the snow is off the roads.
Stay warm and safe all of you who have to deal with the bad weather.

Hope all your days are Sunnydays.
