I do like this T-shirt idea! Let's go for it, who's going to get it going?

I might be willing to get the t-shirt thing going. I know a t-shirt printer and I could possibly get a discount. I will talk to her tomorrow and find out how much it would be. I know once they make the silk-screen it isn't much for the shirts. Now send ideas...I am an artist and could cook up something.

I can see it now...we could be like those red-hat ladies, except we would wear lime green crocs!

Ok girls, I am going to design something with a spunky old broad on it and I will post it here before going to print. I will get prices from my friend that has the shop and will take orders after that. This is going to be fun!!!!

Ok, my fellow SOB's, I have started a sketch of a cartoon SOB wearing an apron and lime green crocs and a sunhat. I think I will have her holding a basket of vegetables and any other ideas you might have. What should it say? I was thinking of "Proud member of the Spunky Old Broads" and maybe on the back the quote "Age only matters if you are wine or cheese". Any other ideas you can throw at me would be helpful, I will post the sketch on here when I am done and I am meeting the T-shirt printer on Wednesday for pricing. When I get closer I will post prices and sizes and my pay-pal account etc...

Diane, that sounds great! I would like one also. Will there be different colors?

Annika, when is your birthday? I had a 50th, too. That is a milestone for sure. I think we should go backwards now, though.

It'll be a load of fun!!

Then we'll have to order, get pics of us Spunkies wearing the shirts and post them.

Sad spunky stuff...my daughter had to leave today to go back to South Carolina. Her husband just got back from his third tour in Iraq so she was able to come home for 5 days. Never long enough.

Diane, I'm so sorry that your daughter and husband have so little time together...that is sad, we have too much war in this old world for sure.

Kris..I think I'm going to count backwards too lol! I turn fabulously 50 on August 26 =) Big year for me, heck, I am surprised that I've made it this far! I'm kinda accident prone due to bum eyesight always trippin' over something LOL!

I'd love a Spunky's meet up some time!
On those shirts, I need an extra big , Just more of me to love =P

Annika, I need a big one too. I want room to move. Can't wait to see what Diane comes up with. She's a very talented lady for sure.

Diane I am sorry that your daughter had to leave so soon. Mine lives here in the same town, but don't see her sometimes because she and her family are extremely busy. But I know she's close by if I need her. How often does she get to come visit?

Girls, you don't have to count backwards, you have earned every year you've gotten. Remember, your only as old as you feel. When I'm with my DD and DIL if forget that I'm not their age. We all have so much fun together. And my mom trys her best to keep up with us.

Blessings, Brenda

Speaking of moms, I would like to order a t-shirt for mine. Her birthday is today but I can give it to her later. She's a SOD, too.

Diane, I'm glad you got to see your daughter. I see mine all the time. One lives right next door. We just had 90 milatary guys come back from Afganistan today to Dalton, Ga. I get goose bumps watching them. I'm so glad they are back with their families. There were 90 that left and all 90 came home. 6 were wounded but they are back here.

Annika, be careful!

Thank you God, that all 90 returned home! I wish we could just keep them all here.

Kris, your mom will love the t-shirt.

Diane...I love the "Wine and Cheese Aging" remark. That's cute! My Mom would love it too. I'll have to get her one!I'm proud of my "82 Y.O. Farmgal Mama!" She raised us right!! It sounds like you've got it all covered. I know that what ever you put on it will be "Snappy & Spunky!" Good job Farmgirl! Oh...will it say Farmgirl anywhere? I might even put my (#) on it somewhere just to make it my own! ;-)

Happy weekend all you Spunky Old Broads! I have not finished the t-shirt sketch yet but I am working on it. I can't get prices until my sketch is done. Will have more later this week. In the mean-time how's this for a S.O.B. picture!
