I guess I became a S.O.B. naturally. Took my 85 year old mom to a new doctor today. She was sitting there telling dr. why she was coming to her. And then she said, "Oh, and I have fibromyalia". So the dr. asked which dr. told you that you had fibro. Mom looked at me and then the dr. and said " No one told me, I just know I do." Now she is very serious about this! Will I cracked up, Mom just amazes me sometimes. The doctor started laughing and said "your mom is a spunky one!" When I got her out to the car, I told her I was going to take her picture and send it in to the spunky old broads. She said,"OK" Got to love her! Just wanted to share my visit to dr with mom.

Blessings, Brenda

Thanks for all your kind comments about the picture . . . I'm not photogenic!!!

CROCS???? I will have to get hot pink ones that have purple on them!!!! It would be a hoot to see all of us in our crocs and other fun attire having the "S.O.B." time of our lives together wouldn't it!!! Probably could get some good media coverage . . . :)

HAPPY FRIDAY you Spunky Ones!!!

Hey Diane. I just showed mu hubby your motorcycle. He said it's a one lunger. Whatever. He wants to know if it's an original or new? Anything else you might want to add. He loves it. He wants one now. He's my big biker dude, can ya tell?

He is right, it is a one lunger. Single cylinder 500 cc engine. It is a Royal Enfield Military. It was purchased in 2006 new, but that company has never changed how they made them so it is not a reproduction or a restoration, but it is original. It is not the fastest bike so I attached a picture of my other bike that I use for longer road trips. The military one's name is Renfield and the cruiser's name is Clyde.

The other bike in the picture is my DH's Triumph Bonneville, her name is Bonnie. Note we have Bonnie and Clyde!

Ok, my husband is having Royal Enfield envy now. I should not have let him see this. He was almost drooling.

I love my crocs...actually croc knock-offs, but I wear them out, stretch them out and have to buy more...need a collection now before they go out of style and stop selling them.

Guess what I saw at Dollar Geneeral yesterday? Croc knock-offs in hot pink for $1.00 a pair!!! Honest!! I would have bought a pair, but the only sizes left were 11-12.....and all the socks in Walmart wouldn't make THAT size fit me!!! lol

I have total motor cycle envy still =)

Have a fun Sunday,fellow spunkies!
We need to make S.O.B. tee shirts and wear them proudly with crocs, or what ever suits our fancy!
I'm planning a "fabulous at fifty" party for my BD, Wish ya'll could come. I don't usually celebrate BDs but think a half century is worth hooting about!
Cheers!

Those S.O.B. shirts will be fabulous! I think maybe instead of SOB it should probably say Spunky Old Broads, someone might get the wrong idea!
I think Maxine from the cartoons would be a great poster child for S.O.B.'s. I just love her! She is definately one spunky old broad.
