Hi farmgirls, just wanted to share this, I start working on an organic herb farm on Tuesday. I am volunteering/apprentice a few mornings a week for the season, can't wait. Giving my time for her knowledge, its great, did a bit last year (elsewhere) before hubby got sick. Now im looking for a sheep farm close by so I can do the same there. By the time we get our small sheep & herb farm, hopefully, I'll have the knowledge I need. I just love this stuff so much. Were still calling it "Pleasure Farms" because after all this time, God knows it will be a pleasure!! Can't wait to get my hands dirty.

Congratulations! Sounds like a great opportunity. How big is the farm? What herbs do they grow and who do they sell them too?
You probably don't know yet exactly what you'll be doing, but keep us posted on how it goes if it's not too much trouble. |

That sounds like such a fun and smart idea - what a great thing to be able to "try before you buy," so to speak! I'm sure you'll be learning all sorts of great things - Congratulations!!!
