Today was one of those days where if we didn't have kids, Doug and I would have both stayed in bed all day. We don't do that often- maybe once a year or so I have a day where my drive is sub-zero for the day.
So since I can't really stay in bed all day with a kiddo to take care of, we went the easy route for meals. Doug stuck a corned beef brisket in the crock pot for dinner (yum) and for lunch we ate MaryJanes Farm food! Yummy!
One of my all time favorites is the Black Bean and Rice dish (great as a burrito filler but I eat it plain!) and Doug had Jambalya which is his favorite. Nora shared with us. It was a great alternative to going out for fast food or buying a quick fix junk food type meal.
So thanks to MaryJanes Farm for making such great food. I take it to work for my lunches too!
