It sure is a happy day when there are buttons in the mailbox on these cold blustery winter days getting home from work! Betty Jo's and Debbie's arrived today. One tiny hole in Betty Jo's envelope, buttons were secure inside. Thank you..I love them!

I received buttons today! Marilyn, I loved them, especially the pink, blue and white ones, they reminded me of my grandmother's jerseys. Carole, beautiful metal buttons, I will recycle the handmade paper.:) Marcy, my favorite was the one that looked like granite, so cool. Thank you for adding so much sunshine to my day. Channah, thank you for all your work!

I got buttons yesterday from Debbie Strickland, Marceil, Marilyn and Candace. Thank you ladies! My envelope came from Barbara and sadly :( the envelope was torn and one button was gone and the other broken - I am sure they were pretty though ! The tag was very cute! I hope mine are arriving okay. Some with just one stamp and and no "hand cancel" requests have come in fine, no problems - I hope mine do too. My husband usually gets the mail when he is home for lunch and he stacks "the button score" up on the table for me to see when I get home in the evening - they make my day! Hugs, Kim

Thank you so very much; how precious that you shared some of your mom and grandma with us!

Linda Berry the "pocket" with the buttons is so darn cute! I will add it to the place my Farmgirl Badges will be...it is so cute and will look super with all the other stuff - especially the Button badge. Also got two beautiful buttons from Carole...got to love the buutons we are scoring. I cleared my Valentine chocolates box out (a Choxie box, square, in pinks with brown edges and a brown ribbon ( I will have to put a photo on-line later)) and the buttons look so HAPPY there (how do you tell if a button is happy you ask? A happy button shines brighter!) that I know it is there perfect home. I don't really sew, but I use buttons in my artwork and my scrapbooking so they are hard to ever part with (I can always think of a page or design I want to use them in). I did add buttons to my Farmgirl Sisterhood Badge (#927) a honeybee (for Mama MaryJane) and 2 pink flowers. I have chicken buttons to add on the edges when I put it on whatever I mount them all to - I am thinking a tote bag (maybe an LL Bean type) so it is useful too - anyway, thanks gals for the beautiful buttons in the mail - how fun! Hey Ladies, A wonderful week of buttons. I received some neat and unique ones this week from Debbie, Marilyn, Betty Jo, Channah, Linda, and Barbara. Thanks to all of you. I love getting mail, especially when it is not a bill. HA! My daughter Ruthie is having a ball using som of these buttons for jewelry. I'm glad mine are making it safely. I didn't know all the things involved in mailing these. I just put mine in the envelope with regular postage and put them in my mailbox with the flag up. Let me know if any of mine aren't received or are damaged when you do receive them. Have a wonderful weekend. I have been out in the yard raking and burning leaves and enjoying the 50 degree weather. The bulbs are starting to pop up out of the ground. I am ready for spring!! Georgina

most of the envelopes I get are torn or have a hole in them. My suggestion for next time is fewer partners, more buttons (perhaps 10) and bubble wrap or padded envelope. These regular envelopes only work with flat buttons, as ya see. I paid 68 cents for each envelope this time.
Does anyone have a button jewelry link to tutorial? I am wanting to make a necklace and bracelet.

I thought you'd like the big pink one!
I bought a big bag of various buttons at Joanne's fabrics a few years ago....then I found out there is only one of most of them...sometimes 2...lol
