Howdie Ladies, my guest were amazed at how wonderfull you all are when I showed them my new buttons. Satureday I recieved buttons from YarnMamma, thank you! Making that a total of 12 pkgs recived.

No, Linda, you were right to bring to my attention the seriousness of the issue...so many things happen on the internet and I was not thinking cautiously as I should have been! I appreciate your bringing it to my attention. I'm certain that we all benefitted from your reminder!
Today was a beautiful button day! I received some PRECIOUS buttons from Channah (& thank you for the sweet note); Marsha J; Patti L; and Linda C. They were all in great shape and I love them!

Thank you for the buttons today! Carole, thank you for your lovely card and note. Patti, my favorite is the brown one, saved your bubble wrap for the next button swap...lol. Marceil, thank you, I love mother-of-pearl. Betty Jo, thank you and I loved the heart shaped red one. Debbie, I love that blue flower, thank you! Marsha, an Egyptian button, lovely and I will check out the Watkin's products. G. Daniel, I will have to look that one up, thank you for the green buttons, a matching set, I will have to knit something for a grandbaby to wear. Barbara, I love the way you sewed them on the tag. It is so pretty, that I don't want to take them off. Robin, not only did I learn something from you about mailing buttons, wonderful packaging, but I love that huge wooden one, thank you. Linda (yarnmama), beautiful buttons and I also loved the way you wrapped the entire envelope in tape. Channah, you are a remarkable young lady, you are inspiring! Thank you for the beautiful buttons and for being such a light. Linda Berry, Your handmade Purse shaped pillow is so adorable, so much work and I can't believe that you made 22 of them! Ladies, you are all a rare breed! I am going to do something special with these buttons because they are filled with each of you, I haven't felt such a connection with a group of women in my life. Buttons today from Robin in Washington, Betty Jo, Channah, Yarnmama, Marsha, and Channah - they were all cute and the notes were darling! I got an envelope from G. Daniels that was ripped, but one of the buttons made it! Thanks to all of you! This has been so fun!

Hmmmm... there does not seem to be rhyme or reason to this. Ones with just basic postage and no "hand cancel" made it fine - others with extra postage and "hand cancel" notes were ripped and some lost buttons or buttons were broken. I agree that the bubble wrap might work to help cushion the buttons - also maybe the thicker envelopes help. Have to think bout all of this for the next time. No buttons today :( I missed them!
