What a surprise I had in my Post Office Box this morning. My MJF Feb/March Issue was there and it is a very good issue. Lots of information about chickens.

Got mine a couple of days ago. :) Love the cover - purples and pinks with gorgeous roses. I love quilts so I was thrilled with all they showcased on collecting them. I made the Chicken Pot Pie on page 77 and it was so delicious!

I just subbed today....Wonder if my first issue with be Feb/march? Or, if I should go grab it off the newstand.
Anyone remember how soon after subbing they got the first issue? I don't want to miss one! I already have Dec/Jan.

Got mine on Saturday - really wonderful after watching my college team get their butts whipped at the Cotton Bowl. That and I've been sick since the day after Christmas, so this made me feel so much better. YAY! ! ! ! !

The Dec/Jan 2010 Issue is pink with a little green trim. There is a vintage santa and little girl holding a bowl with bubbles on the cover, the title is "Old Fashioned Christmas"

Hi, received mine today with a bit of a surprise. Apparently my friend subscribed for me to MJF. So I got two copies. If anyone out there needs one let me know. I love the mag. but I don't need two.

yep, mine arrived today.....and tonight I will squirrl away an hour to myself, a cup of tea & maybe a cookie or 2 (or 10) and enjoy my newest issue.

My husband brought mine in from the mailbox last night! Yippee! The cover is just beautiful and so uplifting in the middle of winter! Now to scurry through my chores so I can sit down and read!

I got a gift subscription from Cathy McNabb for Christmas! What a thoughtful gift. My first issue came the other day and I haven't put the magazine down yet. It is so wonderful and has inspired me so much. I can't wait to start painting and stenciling some furniture! Today I got the Christmas issue in the mail and I've spend the last two hours reading that. This magazine just keeps getting better and better.

Instead of getting two of the same one and giving one away, why don't you call the subscription department and see if they won't add your friend's gift subscription onto the end of your current subscription to give you next year?
I ahevn't gotten mine either and I am a new subscriber :( There is no pace to buy it here either :(
