I just finished making this recipe from the current Mary Jane Farmgirls magazine and wow, wow, wow! It is delicious! The bananas made an excellent addition to the mashed sweet potatoes.

This is so simple, yummy and colorful that I've decided to make it for Thanksgiving dinner! I still can't believe how quick and easy this side dish was to make! We loved it!

It is in the Oct/Nov "Tried and True" issue, towards the back. There are 4 recipes that are index card size. This recipe is on one of them.

I'll hunt through my magazines to see if I can find it. We moved this past summer, so I'm not sure where they are at the moment.

For those of you who came late to MaryJanesFarm Magazine we do have back issues available on our website. The Oct/Nov 2009 issue is in Back Issues bundle #4 (link: http://shop.maryjanesfarm.org/store/p/807-Back-Issues-Bundle-4.aspx)

As Dawn has proven, we do our best to make each issue of our magazine timeless. Great stuff in each and every issue. For those of you who have the magazine already, you can find this recipe on page 91.

Thanks!

Your welcome Margo!

As Brian said, all the magazines are timeless. If anyone can swing it, it is worth going back in the past to buy the bundles from the very beginning of the magazine. The recipes, articles, and pictures are well worth it!
