I know that you will really enjoy this. there are a lot of really neat ladies here and much wisdom to match. Drink lost of fluids and get a good night rest too. Hope little Hannah feels better too.

Welcome Shellie!! (my favorite cousin's name too!!) you sound great!! I am so glad you found us. Sounds like you are a kindred spirit for sure...I love alot of the same things you do. I have 4 kids still at home...11, 9, 9, and 9!!! a pet cow, Mona, who is perfect, sheep, an angora goat, chickens, a rabbit, dogs and cats...17 acres would be a good thing..we don't have a fraction of that land..and use every bit!!
It will be so fun to get to know you!!

Good Morning Shellie!

I sure hope you're feeling better today. It's no fun feeling under the weather...especially when the weather outside is perking up!

Kids 4, 2, and 5 months....WOW! You've got that timed out pretty good....one is out of diapers before the next one arrives. What a joy they must be for you. Give'em a hug from me!

Blessings
Catherine

Hi Julia, I still have a throbbing head but i am going to dr. this afternoon, they think it is a sinus infection. We had a cow elk die in our fields this morning. That is the 4th on this year! our neighbors goats have aborted a lot of babies and are all on antibiotics, there have been a few cows that didn't make it through the winter as well, we had fish and wildlife come out, autopsies came out that nothing was wrong, but we all know it is from the severe flooding up here this winter. I worry about the rest of our animals. Shellie

Hi Jenny and Catherine, Thanks for the warm welcome. It is so nice to have finally found a place where I have people to talk to that have the same interests. I only know a few personally here where I live, so boy did I need this! (Thanks to Julia, who brought Mary Janes Farm to my attention). Nice to meet you! Shellie

Weird about the animals. It must have been something that was carried in the water with all the flooding. Maybe the cow elk was the one who was eating your dalihas.
