Dianne - I just got your package today - oh my goodness you totally outdid yourself, I just love everything. Thank you sooo much. I am so excited to sit down and read the gardening book. Thank you again, you are the best!!

Amy, Glad you enjoyed everything! I had fun putting it together. I realized after I mailed it that I didn't check the origin of the packet of "heirloom" seeds, so you can throw them out if they're not what you plant. Can't wait for the next issue of MJF to be released! Hey, Farm Friends...are you finding it costs more to mail the packages than to assemble them??? Dianne

Toni, I had just mailed a package to that East Freedom address, when I picked up my mail from the PO Box. There you were with a wonderful newsy letter. I am behind in my letter writing, but be assured that you will hear from me shortly as will those I write to. I hope you like what I sent & as I master...I'm not even a novice yet... phase 2, you will get that part also. I am told that you should get your package by first to mid week. Blessin's on ya girl! It does cost more to mail - go figure. I am looking forward to the next issue too.....plans to make:)

Amy Grace, You go girl! Your Farm Friend gift arrived today (just as I was writing you a long letter) and all I can say is--you are an inspiration! Everything was wonderful...handmade clothespin bag, wild rice with recipes, bath soak, organic seeds, and a personal note written on handmade paper. I am blessed to have you as my Farm Friend. Dianne

Claudia, what a wonderful surprise I received! Oh girls you are going to be
envious. She sent me a great book on collecting and preserving plants and a
press for preserving the plants. The first thing they talked about in the
book was not collecting poison plants. I have my second batch of poison ivy!! Then it was on to dandelions and how pretty they look pressed. Oh this is such a wonderful
gift. THank you!!! |

Not to complain, but I am a little discouraged. I haven't received any farmgirl gifts since the very first time we were all matched up with our partners. That was 3 issues ago :( I don't want to sound like a baby or that I want gifts or anything... I just wish my friend would straight up tell me if she's quit this swap or not.

I'll let Dumplin know. She's home today so maybe I can get her to say howdy to everyone.
I have two gifts finished and just putting the notes in with them.
I can't wait to see what my farm friend sends me this time. She is so clever with her ideas.
Wyralee let me know when you get ready to send me gift out. Then I'll send your second one to you.
I can still add on more farm friend if anyone wants to send and receive let me know.
