I hope all you farmgirls find a farm friend because you should have one as wonderful as mine! Amy Grace just sent me the most delicious tea, dainty vintage hankie, handsewn apron and recipe book of pies. But the best part was the lovely hand-written letter from her telling me how much she enjoyed the goodies I sent and filling me in on all that she was doing. Thank you, Amy Grace, and a special thanks to the folks who make MJF happen! Dianne

I would also like a Farm Friend! I have other friends, but not a single one that enjoys a farmgirl's life! I live in the small farmtown of Sublimity, Oregon. We just bought another little farm, the place where I hope to be living by my 40th b-day, in October of this year! Please let me know who is in need of a good farm friend, and what I need to do to get her.
Thanks bunches,
Heather

Toni, you have already given me so much. You are extrememly generous. Yesteday's gift was marvelous. I have looked at what to buy of MJ's food packages, but had no idea that yhou would send me her #8 recipe book (& tips on life) and her baking mix. The box is in the shape of a little house with pcitures of a farm faily right out of the '50's...my generation!!! I am looking at the recipes and plan to make something tomorrow after church. You really are very thoughtful and I hope to be a better sister. Just getting the hang of all this. Your letter gave me a little glimpse into your life. Would love to see your face..and have you in mind as I plan for my next attack. Are you on FB or anything that gives me a hint? I hope you have a grand week and that you start having that Spring weather! A big hug!

Claudia, I am so glad you liked the package. Alee is always talking about the mix so I thought maybe you would enjoy it. Let me know what you make. Hugs Toni |

I just got a lovely hand-written letter from my farmfriend Dianne/textilelover. This in addition to the package a couple weeks ago - it definitely made my day, thank you so much Dianne. Amy Grace

Amy Grace, I'm glad you like reading letters as much as I enjoy writing them. Let's try to keep it up. We're having our second back-to-back snowstorm (more than a foot of snow each time) here in the northeast, so power and services are sporadic. Because I've been shoveling and caring for kids and animals, I haven't been able to check the forums. Glad the letter arrived already! Dianne

Shari, I sent your package, I hope you like it. I am ready for the next one. Been collecting little things you mentioned so can't wait to get the new MJF mag. For mine, I just can't have anything scented or mint cause of my Mom's allergies. What 19th century author books do you have?

Kayla, It came this afternoon!!! I LOVE the fabric, and have done braiding in the past, so that braidwork book was cool. The Mickey Mouse patch will come in handy for my friend's birthday trip to Disneyland. What a great gift. I have a couple of things lined up for you for next time, but will write in the meantime. Thanks!

I got my MJ magazine yesterday. You want to hear something cute. My hubby has read it from cover to cover. He enjoyes it as much as I do.
I was reading about all the partners. I would love to be included in this circle of friends. I am up for a "Sisterhood Friend" Count me in.

Marjean.....have a question. My first farmgirl friend stepped out, and last month I sent to Delicia as she and I emailed and she became my new farm friend. Is she one of yours also, and should I try to make a new one? I got my issue yesterday, and already have my idea....
I can send to the person above who wants to join....bagladydiva. What do you think?
