I got my lovely package of goodies yesterday. My yorkie went crazy over the stuffed animal. He thought it was for him. lol I love the books too. It was so nice getting something from you.

I received a wonderful package from Debbie today! She sent two very sweet embroidered pillow cases. They are kittens in baskets with flowers and bows. I absolutely love embroidered pillowcases and use them all the time! She also sent a wonderful handmade valentine! I've never seen anything like it! It's a little book with beautifully cut edges, pictures, stickers, there's a picture that I'm thinking must be her, and then a picture that I think is her adorable grand children! I love it!
And, she sent a magnetic valentine's photo frame, and a recipe for mexican cornbread, which I can't wait to try. What a wonderful treat this all was!!!

Happy happy. I just received a Valentine's package from my secret sister.
She sent a beautiful handmade apron with hearts and yummy habdnade chocolates. The chocolate covered cherries are the BOMB
The apron is now adorning my mannequin in the kitchen and looks so adorable.

My secret sister asked if I enjoy gardening. I love the thought of gardening but i am in a condo so I belong to a CSA for fruits and veggies and my daughter plants a few flowers for me but thatt is about all.

dumplin, I am glad that you liked it. The 2 books were favorites of mine when I was young. I know that you said you liked Nancy Drew but, I found the 2 Donna Parker books in a antique store and just had to get them. I hope you like them.

| I would like to join also. My name is Dawn and I live in a small town in the Blue Ridge Mts of Virginia. I grew up in an agricultural/farming town in the Finger Lakes region of NYS. My hometown had 1500 and was surrounded by apple orchards and farms. Our house was in "town", but you could catch a whiff of cow pasture any time a breeze shifted in our direction. |
