I would love to learn to do bobbin lace
I can do the first to stitches; then I am totally lost
I would love to learn to write my own music
I can pick out the melody with my right hand on my piano
but, I cannot write my own music.
I would love to learn to play the harp.

Thanks for the encouragement Sheila! To me the socks and hats are kind of intimidating, because of the four knitting needles. But I'll figure it out eventually. :)

You're all going to think I'm nuts, but I would love to learn small motor repair and understand the inner workings of electricity. I would LOVE to be able to build my own turbine and electrical storage and generate our own electricity, both with wind and water.
I would truly love to be able to spin well. It intrigues me and even though I have a small Pippy wheel, I can't seem to master it to save my life!

Diane, you aren't nuts. That sounds really interesting! And just think of all the things you could fix if you knew that stuff.
I would love to learn how to quilt, barrel race (but I'd have to learn how to ride a horse first, eh?), and change the oil in my car. How's that for random? :) |

I love quilting ; haven't done any for awhile what with moving in our newly built home.
want to get back to it though
changing oil in your car ; would save you money.
My hubby use to do ours
but now he just pays for it . lol

I would love to learn how to be happy ALL the time.
I want to learn how to be at peace with EVERYONE I meet and especially my family.
I want to learn how to just be NICE.
Also I want to learn how to not worry about every little nit-picky thing that comes along.
I know the way to do all this, but it's too darn hard for me! There are so many people that just rub me the wrong way and they are mostly people in my family. I just need to learn how to get over it.
I would also love to learn how to play the piano. And drive a tractor. And not be afraid to ride a horse. Build a small building by myself. How to not be so dependant on people. And to knit. Oh, and know how to get my sewing machine to work when it messes up and not have to go to my friend for help with it.
Maybe one day.

I want to learn how to imitate bird calls so well that it fools the birds. I want to learn how to safely ride a motorcycle. And I want to learn how to play the dulcimer.

I would love to learn how to sew. And to speak another language, and to play the guitar.
Sadly, I lack the patience to learn any of these three. I can sew on buttons, and a straight seam. That is about it.

I would love to learn American Sign Language. We live pretty close to the Maryland school for the deaf. So I encounter many deaf people in my travels.

I want to learn to be authentic in my life and entertain some of those things I have thought but never acknowledged as worthy because they came from me. I want to learn how to become the girl that has girlfriend relationships like you seem to have in your lives that I have observed but never really had. I want to continue to learn the difference between the important versus the urgent. I want to learn a language other than English and how to line dance and to enjoy the spontaneous more. I want to learn how to laugh out loud and savor my food instead of just eat. I want to learn how to be present and not just a spectator. I want to learn how to live out loud. Debbie

Yes, I too would like to worry less
but
I believe being human that ; that is just human thing to do.
I Learned piano in my late 30's so I was a late bloom er
never to late or early for that matter.
Knitting isn't hard; try learn to do the knit and purl stitch and something simple like a dish cloth

Well, I'm in the process of learning to play the fiddle, so that's on my list. I'd love to learn how to sew really well. Or finally finish one of the novels I've written, or decorate cakes like a baker, or become a master gardener.
