I am sitting here on the eve of my 39th birthday. Chances are there won't be any big celebration tommorow. BUT, I am so excited. I'm counting down to 40. Woo hoo. I have been 40 since about 1978. My parents actually nicknamed me Grammy back then. I am going to make a great 40 year old, better at 50 and so on. The next 365 days, I am going to embrace, but after that...watch out! Nothing's gonna stop me then baby!
Anybody else happy to grow older? Or am I just weird?
Smiles, Lisa

I was so happy when I grew up, and my hubby said I was like fine wine, much, much better with age, lol.

I love your photos! They remind me of my sisters who are around your age .. HAPPY BIRTHDAY... Let me be one of the first to tell you! :D
But I understand... I am turning 30 next March 12th, but I feel younger and better now than I did at 19! I'm definitely healthier! (I had bad health..) I weigh less and am more active... and I am much happier. Part of me feels weird.. I'm going into my 30's...I'm done with my twenties... feels a little odd... but I am also excited too? :)
I think it's all about feeling good and confident about yourself I guess? You are content?
(But in another way, I am not content! LOL)

Happy Birthday! I was an old child too. 40 wasnt any big deal for me. 35 on the other hand was. I will be 47 soon...better than the alternative. |

Happy Birthday, I have to admit my 40th & 50th birthdays were great, but now I'm 58 (I think) and my joints hurt and I'm getting bumps which hurt on my thumb & fingers. Getting older older isn't all thats it's cracked up to be. So enjoy everyday!!
Hope all your days are Sunnydays. dianebcarterhotmailcom.blogspot.com |
