Fall has become my favorite season for farmgirling.....With the cooler weather, I am more and more anxious to sit down with a notebook and start plotting out my dreams, and plans for the next gardening season. Writing down all that worked, did not work, could work better, etc. I am also eager to get out my sewing projects and oven lit up.
So, I just wanted to remind you all that this is the perfect to time "enlist" in the Sisterhood. So much of what we already do, can earn us badges, but also... the badge process gives us a new way of looking at an old topic. We recommend great books to read, new things to try and much more.
While you are making great gifts for the holidays, so yourself a favor, document your steps, and then get a badge... what a great way to honor what you are doing...

I love fall because the extra hours of darkness means I do more indoors - and by the end of summer I am ready for it.

I just joined as well! I'm excited to get going. Just looking over the merit badge categories and deciding on what to do first with my farmerettes!
When do we get our sisterhood numbers?  In the mail or by email? I'm anxious to see what number I am!
