Seasonal and Holiday Gift Exchange guidelines

* ongoing exchange throughout the year, new themes will be announced as they come up. You can post to each exchange individually as they arise.

* handmade item valued around $5 or less

* item can be anything relating to the current theme... Frannie said it well..."HAND-DID ... can be 'anything' within the theme ... card-art, altered book, teeny dollie, pin cushion or other sewie, small painting or hand-did wood item, etc. etc. etc. .. determined by each maker's skills, materials, interests, and imagination."

* post that you want to be included Please include:
Name, hobbies, color preferences, etc.... This will help the maker of the giftie. (You will switch addresses only with your match.)

* names will be matched by random "pulling from the hat"

* groups will be of 3 or 1 on 1.

* matched names will be notified

* matched names will email each other with mailing info.

* ladies will come back to this thread to tell us all about their goodies!!

I'd like to join in. I'd like to do the May Day Swap, or just spring in general. I haven't done a swap yet, cuz I'v been busy with school activities. But I'm ready. Question - do I post my name & hobbies here or with an email? Please let me know. Thank you.

Okay,

My hobbies are sewing, fabric crafts, cooking, reading, anything old-timey. My fav colors are blue, green, red. I love country and primitive things: anything that's old or just looks old.

Good morning!

Betty Jo, a couple of months ago, we began a monthly swap. Each month, I'll post the theme and gals email back that they want to take part in the swap. I put the names in a hat and then pull for partner match-ups. The two gals email each other their addresses. The giftie is to be of small value...around $5.....something handmade and somewhat related to the stated theme.

If you want the long details, go back to page 1 of this post for the details on this swap. The swaps are listed with S.H.G.E. in the title. "Seasonal and Holiday Gift Exchange". You can also check out the others that have passed just to see what's been going on.

Sign up! The more the merrier!

Blessings
Catherine

When do we get our "match-ups"? I've not participated in a swap like this yet, and it sounds like so much fun!!! :)

Catherine, there's nothing to forgive! I'm just so grateful you do all of this that who cares if it's no right on schedule? With all the Easter preps, spring arriving, etc., I'm sure you've been really busy.
