Because I was curious I opened this topic. I think that you made a fascinating parallel--linking Kierkegaard to Hans Christian Anderson, with no mention of Kierkegaard as philospher. very interesting.

Are you reading Kierkegaard for a paticular reason?

Darn, I took one to the thrift store.

For tomorrow and its needs I do not pray, but keep me, guide me, love me, Lord just for today.

Hi Lizabeth,
I was recommended his books. I wanted to read one of his earlier books and then one of his later books. As far as I know he became a Christian at the end of his life but I was interested to see if it were true. ... I also was wondering about the people who recommended his books. No offense.
I was just getting back to the computer .... I was away.
Do you have anything to add..... I am very interested in your opinion..
Thanks ,Faith

Too late to post about Kierkegaard tonight--I just got home from a football game. Will post tomorrow :) I totally know what you mean about learning more of people by looking at the books they recommend. fascinating, isn't it?!

These people went to Denmark and while there visited his grave.... they said it wasn't far from Hans.... and they were amazed that people were visiting Anderson's grave and no one was at
Kierkegaard's. I found it weird to visit any grave. So we are very different. lol
