So, let's say this morning you are in the kitchen canning tomatoes and pondering the upcoming day. You go to take a drink of your coffee and notice a little gnat floating in it. Let's say your cup is about 1/3 full. What are you gonna do?
A. Drink the coffee, gnat and all. A little extra minerals and protein never hurt anybody, right?
B. Pitch the rest of the coffee in the sink because, Ewwww, there was a bug in it!
C. Stick your finger in the coffee, pull out the bug, and drink the rest.
Allright, duckies, what would you do?? |

Well, I don't drink coffee. But if it was tea, I would chose "C". After all, the little sucker couldn't have drank much of it, right?

| Being a formewr cyclist, I have eaten many a bug while sucking in air going up a steep climb.. SO I would have to say A or C..Although probably C, cause those bugs inhaled while on the bike, were not ingested on purpose. |

I don't drink coffee, so mine would probably be hot chocolate and I would choose C. :)

I would choose C however I have done A when the cup was drunk down to far to easily reach the bug.

That early in the morning, I'm not wearing my glasses yet...so I'd probably drink the bugger! A fly doing the backstroke I'd probably see, but not a gnat!

I don't know why it matters, but it does and I have done it many times. Maybe I think the hot coffee sterilizes the little gnat germs? Or maybe it's the time of day and I have too much time/awareness later on? Now, if I poke him and he disappears on me, I go back for a fresh cup. :)

Yeah I'd have to say C too. I mean since it's a little gnat. he can't hurt much can he. Flies on the other hand are just nasty. I won't drink after them.

C - gnats are itty bitty and don't drink much and bees and wasps if I see them go in, otherwise, flies and unknown swim times get tossed.
