the smell of a steamy cedar shower room
my babies sweet breastmilk breath
the first rain in our forest
a hot day in a pine forest
ooh, this is fun
Juggling children and chickens while trying to find time to laze in the sun. |

fresh cut wood
my goats ( when there clean)
sheets after there washed

Pecan rolls baking in the oven
fresh dry sheets, towels from the line
applebutter bubbling in the kettle
grandmas's perfume Evening in Paris
kitties when they cuddle
baby powder
spice cake on the tongue (well, we use all of our senses, right)
pumpkin pie
air when it is raining
fresh hay
my new grandaughter
people who have just showered
spiced tea
freshly washed fabric ready for the next quilt
Mary Jane's magazine when it arrives.........

I love the smell of fresh cut hay
bread baking in the oven
fresh made salsa
the chicken coop after fresh straw is put in the boxes
and one of my favorites - the barn with the new calves

Wow, I have many, but my absolute favorites are:
the smell of fresh turned earth in my hands,
fresh bread out of the oven,
perking coffee,
lilacs,
the aroma of frying bacon,
a dewey morning,
.... and after a rain storm
