Tomatoes. I love, love, love fresh garden tomatoes. There is nothing else on earth tastes so good in summer as having that juicy goodness running down your chin after sinking your teeth into the first ripe one off the vine.

| I have looked at this thread several times and didn't post because I just can't narrow it down to even five or ten plants. I like almost everything. I guess the one thing I would not plant would be sweet potatoes. Sorry , that is close as I can get right now. |

FAVORITE GARDEN VEGETABLE: TOMATOES!! Nothing like home-grown tomatoes!!
FAVORITE FLOWER: PANSIES!! Love those sweet faces on these hardy beauties. PEONIES!!! Huge beautiful blooms with such heavenly, soothing fragrance . . . WOW!!!

Favorite veggie plant- Swiss Chard-I love to cook it with a little garlic and olive oil. The "Bright Lights" variety is so pretty and colorful, and it lasts from spring 'till fall.
Favorite flowering plant-Butterfly Weed. Good for the butterflies, and my bees love it, too!

wow, being a horticulturist, it's hard to pick, but lilacs are my favorite, stock my next . I love the smell of tomato plants and basil. I love smelling all of my plants
