hehe..This is fun! I never thought this topic would take off like it did. :D
Hubby has decided on a name if we have a girl, but in my head, I just don't know if I can get passed the meaning. lol
Her wants to name her Kahlan (said Kay-lon) Alizabeth. I love Alizabeth. It means 'Consecrated to God'. Kahlan means "the warrior princess" LOL I don't know if this Momma wants to content with a "warrior princess" ..LOL

Uhhh...I've no clue what my name means...all I do know is that my mothers name was Anne, and my sister is Marianne and I'm laurianne..clever, eh?
Anybody got an idea of the Lauri part of my name? or the anne, for that matter? --  --

Let's see...hmm...Lauri means Laurel and one of the other girls posted on here the meaning of Anne :D
Claudia means lame or disabled. I am going to look into this one farther, because I think it must go deeper that that. It seems to simple of a meaning to be right. :)

Jessie, what does my name mean? I have gotten book marks before with the meaning but can't remember. And they were all probably pretty generic.

| Sheryl Lee means goodness and 'from the meadow'. I've always thought that it was strange that my names refers to a place where I would rather be than anywhere else: a high meadow...complete with wildflowers, aspen and birdsong. |
