I think Teresa means , ( and it only applies to me), mean ol [bleep],LOL. I don't have any idea, I do know I was named after my paternal G/ma, and my middle name is also my mothers middle and my daughters middle, oh and its Louise.

My oldest son told me when he was little (we were having a conversation about what names mean and had talked about his and his younger brother's names and origins..the only two kids at that point) that he thought Jenny means "likes lots of breakable stuff". I got a kick out of that.
Honestly I have no idea.

Jenny, that's funny!! I had to look up my name and here is what I found:
Karin (a form of Katherine)- Pure, and
Lynne- either a lake (in Welsh, llin) or a beautiful waterfall. I think they made up the waterfall part to make it sound better. lol

| someone correct me if i'm wrong, but i think that my name Susan, means lilly in hebrew??? (or maybe that was my daughter's name:jill?) anyway, i was born in 1957 (no comments please!!:)) and it seems that year, everyone named their daughter susan. i'd be walking down the hall in school and someone would shout out hey sue and 15 girls would turn around. i decided that i would never do that to my kids. |

Teresa means Harvester. :) and Louise means Famous Warrior. (My grandmother's name is Louise :D)
Jenny means White & Fair.
Susan--You right! :D Your name does mean Lily. :)
I just love knowing what everyone's name means. (Plus it gives me ideas for baby names..LOL)

| My full name is Hosanna Joy Shalom..... yeah, my Mom was into the Hebrew names. Hosanna means "Save us, Lord, we beseech thee." Joy means, well, joy, and Shalom means "Peace". Most of my brothers and sisters have like four names each. They are all quite different, too. |

Mine means the same as Jessica's or similar to. The meaning for John or Jon (as is the root of my name) is God is Gracious.

Well, I know Bonnie usually means Beautiful, charming, lovely. It is Scot in origin. Look up Frances...I do believe it's french, oddly enough :)
