I'm behind, too. Other deadlines loom. Don't worry gals, it'll get done.

Its been a long time since I hand stitched anything but mending. It may be my last project too, my hands are giving me fits. But I can finish this ( a little bit at a time). I know some offered to help those that can't embroider, but I'm not asking for help. I want to look at this quilt and say that was my last embroidery project - so I have to do it all myself. (That means that quilt kit with the half finished embroidered rose blocks thats been hiding in the closet for 12 yrs needs a new home. I'm surprised I even remember its in there!)

I won't be hand quilting the finished blocks though!

I almost messed up in a big way. DD was helping me pack up my scrapping/craft room, and she asked if "this pile" was supposed to be boxed up. Without looking, I said "yes". Something made me think I'd better look -- it was my embroidery stuff, including my quilt squares for this swap. If she'd packed it and it had gone off to storage, I'd have been, as my grandma used to say, "in a pickle"!

Ladies, I'm also behind, and I'll be emailing all of you this weekend with my new address and a question or two. I've been busy with rain, chickens & ducks, getting a son home from college, and a sick husband! Anyway, I'll be in touch tomorrow sometime.

So do all of these "way behinds" mean our wonderful co-ordinator is going to give us more time???? (Hear the pleading in her voice)

When do we need to send the squares out? I'm behind, in everything, But still want to do this project. Life has taken over, or should I say looking for an apartment and moving has taken over, lol. Just give me a deadline and I will send them out on time. Oh and don't forget the address to mail them all to . I will also have to give you my new address as of August 1st.

Sure wish I had known about this one early on. I am a piecer, quilter, and sewer! If you do have another quilt block swap, I sure would like to be included! They are so much fun!

But thank goodness I did find MaryJane's!!!!!
