I like my bacon sorta crispy. I think it would be really chewy done like this. We have farm fresh bacon that is much thicker than store bought too. Let us know how it goes.
Diana...you are so funny. I will have to try corn this way. We cooked corn buttered and seasoned and wrapped in foil in the coals of our fire ring last night for a family backyard campout..it was SOOOO good...gosh, bacon would only make it better I bet!
